BRIANNA'S POV

I didn't really get much sleep last night. As expected, it was a disaster.. My dad had broke off the news to everyone.. 

Nagkasagutan din kami ni Dad kagabi.. nung pagkaalis nung mushroom na un, malalakas na sigaw ang nadinig ko pagkapasok ko sa bahay. 

*Flashback*

Napako ako sa kinatatayuan ko nung makita kong sinampal ni Dad si Drea.. ni minsan hindi nya kami pinagbuhatan ng kamay.. pero look now. Business had changed him. He wasn't the father I knew few years back.

Pagkapunta ni Drea sa taas, ako naman ang kumausap sa kanila.

"Why did you slap her? Dad, ilang beses mo pa ba sya sasaktan? Haven't you had enough?!" 

"Brianna wag kang makikisali dito." He said quietly.

"Why? I know I'm quiet all the time.. to the point na wala na akong pakialam sa mundo. Pero my twin sister is involved in this one! I can't just sit back and watch you ruin her fucking life!"

"BRIANNA MADDISON! Isa ka pang bata ka! Ganito ba ang natututunan nyo sa pagtira nyo dito ha?! We shouldn't have left you and your sister behind!" He shouted wrathfully. "Isasama na namin kayo sa Europe."

"NO!"

Galit na galit na sya.. nilapitan sya agad ni Mommy at hinawakan ang kamay nito. Then he tried to calm down.. 

"Sa susunod na pagbalik namin dito, whether you like it or not, sasama kayo samin." His voice was full of authority. And when my Dad has decided something, that is final.

Umakyat na din ako.. dahil kapag hindi, baka kung ano pa ang masabi ko. 

*Flashback ends*

Drea was still in a state of shock. Pumunta sya sa room ko last night dala-dala ang favorite pillow nya.. She was like a kid asking kung pwede makitabi. We haven't slept together in the same room for ages.. siguro nung nag-13 kami, dun kami sinanay ng mga magulang namin na maging independent. Pero kagabi, I know that my twin was really scared so I let her sleep with me.

SOUTH APEX HIGH

I pressed the button of the key and my car beeped. Ako lang mag-isa ngayon na papasok sa school dahil grounded nga si Drea. She would have a homestudy instead.

While walking down the corridor, as expected nagtitinginan ang mga tao.. They were becoming bees again.. and obviously, they were talking about the incident yesterday.

I mentally blocked myself from them. I have no time dealing with these stupid people.

"BRIIIII!" 

It was Mikee.. wow. wala ata si Joan?

"Hindi na talaga papasok si Drea? Tapos wala pa syang phone?? T__T" - Mikee

"Yeah." I just said, combing my fringe with my fingers.

"Haay.. kawawa naman si bespren." :(

"Anyway, you can't visit the mansion for the mean time.. may nagbabantay. Where's Joan by the way?"

"Aww :( Si Joan? Wala eh.. male-late daw kasi late na nagising."

"Oh."

Nagsimula na kaming maglakad papuntang locker room nang napansin ko na halos lahat ng mga nadadaanan namin ay may binabasa. Tinanong ko kay Mikee kung ano yun, and she said they must be reading the school newsletter for the week..
