Chapter 6- Taco's anyone?
"Okay, this is defiantly the best shit I have ever tasted" I mumbled while eating the most amazing taco known to man.
Even better than taco bell, and that's saying a lot coming from a taco bell addict like me!
"Mmmhh" I moaned taking another bite of heaven.
From beside me, I heard Josh trying to contain his laughter
"What?" I asked him "This is a good damn taco!"
"Yeah, but you now have taco meat juice running down your chin" he reached across the table licking it off my chin still chuckling.
Damn him and his cuteness I thought as I knew a blush was forming on my face.
"You know I could have wiped it off with a napkin, now I just have to wipe your slobber off of my face" I told him
"Hey, you know you like my slober on your face" He told me with a wink
"Yeah, right" I shot back
"What would you say to meeting my parents tonight?"
"I...um...uh" I could not believe he just asked that. It's not that I don't want to be serious with him or anything, but we just met and this is only our third date. What will happen when I go off to college and he goes back home to wherever he lives. As much as I would like to, I cannot be in a serious relationship with him. I mean this is probably just for the next week or so and then we will both go our separate ways. But doesn't meeting his family mean that this is getting pretty serious?
I needed to stop my inner monolouge when I noticed Josh getting fidgety.
"Um it's okay if you don't want to, I just thought that since we've been talking for a few days, I know it's not serious yet, but...um... I think they want to meet you." Awh how adorable, was he getting nervous waiting for me to answer?
My silent question was answered as I saw a faint pink blush rise into his cheeks.
"Silly boy, of course I would love to!" I answered enthusiastically. He didn't have to know that I was nervous as hell about meeting them.
He breathed a sigh of relief before smiling and leaving his side of the booth, coming around to mine and planting a soft lingering peck on my lips.
As he started to lean back away from me, a sly smile spread across my face and I boldly grabbed the back of his head, leaning it closer to mine before whispering in his ear "That was not a kiss. I need a real one"
Not wasting another second, I needed his lips back on mine and just as I was about to move towards him, his lips were crashed to mine and I knew that this was going to be more than just a week or so fling.
After making out in the taco shop for another few minutes, we both came up for air. Looking Josh into the eyes made word vomit come out and I asked "What are we?"
He looked stunned for a minute or so before replying the few words that made my day "I would like to be your boyfriend if you let me"
A huge grin broke out on my face and I thought I would tease him for a little bit before giving in. My mouth decided to do something different and before I knew it, "I would love that" came out of my mouth.
After that we decided to leave. Getting into his car, I knew that we were different and we needed to make this work.
After all when I walked over to his beach house to meet him this morning I found out that not only was he staying in this multi-million dollar beach home for a few weeks, no his parents owned it. Then came the new 2012 Ford Mustang Cobra in black. And before I knew it, I was standing in front of his parents in a white summer dress from American Eagle and some black flip-flops.
