The grass was soft under my bare feet as I walked in the park, basking in the sun's golden rays. I was swinging my sandals back and forth, liking the feel of the cool grass on my skin. Up ahead of me, sitting on a little park bench with his back facing me, was a boy with curly hair blowing in the slight breeze. I grinned, picking up my pace to a sort of jog until I got a few feet away from him. I slowly crept closer, not wanting him to hear me, and sprang, covering his eyes with my hands.

"WHAT THE F-" he started to scream, but I cut him off.

"No cursing curly!" I teased, giggling a little. He visibly relaxed, his hands reaching up to hold mine.

"I was starting to think you wouldn't come Darcy," he said a little embarassed. I removed my hands from his eyes, walking around the bench and sitting next to him. He automatically put his arm around my shoulders, bringing me closer to him, and I rested my head on his chest.

"You're kidding, right Harry? Why wouldn't I meet my boyfriend?" I asked, poking his stomach, which caused him to grin.

"You never know, someone as pretty as you could have found someone better."

"There is no one better, Harry. I love you," I replied, sitting up and getting lost in his green eyes.

"I love you too, Darcy. Don't ever forget that." His eyes were searching my face, his expression unreadable. I smiled and shook my head, kissing his cheek. "Come on, I have a surprise for you," Harry said, taking my hand in his and pulling me up, leading me away from the bench. "Close your eyes, and no peeking!" I did as I was told, darkness overcoming me as my eyes sealed shut. I gripped Harry's hand harder, not liking how I couldn't see where I was going.

"Are we there yet?" I asked softly, smiling at the over-used saying.

"Almost babe, just a few more feet." Harry's breath tickled my ear as he whispered to me, shooting tingles down my spine. "Alright, open your eyes now." My eyes snapped open, taking in the scene in front of me. On the ground, there was a red and white checkered blanket, a big wooden picnic basket perched on top of it. Right in the middle of the blanket was a single red candle, the flame licking at the melting wax. All around the blanket, pink and red rose petals were scattered, as a sort of border. It was a truly breathtaking sight, especially under the canopy of trees.

"Harry... It's beautiful. All this... for me?" I was just shocked, I couldn't believe he would do something so amazing for me.

"This is nothing. You deserve the world." Harry smiled, making my heart flutter. We both sat down on the blanket, and Harry opened the picnic basket and started taking things out. My eyes widened as he brought more and more stuff out, and my stomach let out a little growl, causing Harry to grin and me to smirk. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's dig in!"

"Wow, you eat almost as much as Niall," Harry said, smirking as we finished off the last of the food.

"I'll take that as a compliment." I grinned, hitting his shoulder playfully. By now, the sun had started to set, and it was getting pretty dark. Harry and I sat on the blanket, his arm around my waist, while we watched the sun set.

"Look, it's a star! The first one. Make a wish." Harry turned to me, looking into my brown eyes, while a slow smile crept onto my face. I closed my eyes, silently making a wish. "What did you wish for?" Harry asked as I opened my eyes.

"If I tell you, it won't come true," I teased, watching Harry pout, sticking out his bottom lip. "What did you wish for?"

"Nothing. All I could ever want is right here, on this blanket with me," Harry replied seriously, his green orbs flashing with many emotions.
