       ELLA MADDYSON BARKER, once a student at the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Chosen into the house of Thunderbird no less. But when her father and mother have been chosen to represent the Magical Congress of the United States in America, in London, everything changes. Ella is forced to leave her home and school, to go to another one. Hogwarts. Another school for students studying the magic and ways of the wizarding world.

       SHE WILL HAVE to start out her whole life and popularity status once again, as she attends the new school. Ella Barker, the only American wizard, here to come and join the British. Here to finish school, get into some relationships, break some hearts and maybe even get into some duels. Until she meets a Prefect Gryffindor, who has the same struggles and trials as her. And they both help each other out to know that life is worth living; especially when they end up falling in love.

‌ ━━━ ella would completely change everything the way hogwarts work as she brings her culture of america over to london. that includes her accent, the words that she says, and the way that she pronounces things compared to the british wizards

‌ ━━━ back at ilvermorny, ella was sorted as a thunderbird which is equivalent to a slytherin. so she can kinda transition to the slytherin house at hogwarts. ella would hit it off with the slytherins and kinda have her own "marauders" group.

‌ ━━━ and then ella bumps into remus, and everything changes. obviously, these two are not going to be on good terms with one another and remus is going to lowkey tease ella because of how american she is and she's gonna find ways to fight him back

‌ ━━━ obviously slughorn and mcgonagall are gonna have to talk with the students from their houses to try to make them be on a common ground. and it's only gonna have to make them spend some time to bond with each other and get to know each other's cultures

‌ ━━━ this will cause remus and ella to warm up to each other, tell their stories and gaining a strong trust for one another, that they can tell each other everything and they both come to learn and accept each other's cultures and how unique they are

 ‌ ━━━ remus is gonna start playfully teasing ella and he's gonna tease her cute accent and laugh when she calls muggles "no-maji" and she's just gonna roll her eyes and use some spells to get back at him

‌ ━━━ sometime throughout the book, ella would find out about remus being a werewolf (she could prolly head into the shrieking shack or whatever). he's lowkey crushing on ella and he was so worried that she had to see him like this because being a monster is what makes him insecure 

‌ ━━━ she'll end up getting upset that he broke their strong trust from keeping this secret from her, so she ends up ignoring him for a while. because after all this time she thought she had a friend who she could trust and he ends up hiding this from her

‌ ━━━ the rest of the marauders try to talk ella into talking to remus, but she's totally stubborn and doesn't wanna talk to him. that's until they give her a letter that remus wrote to ella confessing his love to her and how he only wanted to protect her from the monster he is

‌ ━━━ this ship is honestly slowburn as ella and remus can go to school for the rest of the years being totally happy and their friendship becoming amazing again

‌ ━━━ the angst of this book is how ella doesn't always have a good outlook on life. and the fact that remus doesn't always have a good vibe about his life either, they both try to find ways to appreciate life and find it at its fullest as they end up dating later and being happy

‌ ━━━ but then ella's parents have finished their job working with the ministry of magic, that she has to go home, causing her to leave remus and her new life behind. the two can always keep in close contact but their live's get super angsty and depressing without one another

‌ ━━━  as much as other people can lift them up, it was always ella and remus telling each other why life was worth living. it can then show how remus was going to visit ella for the holidays but she dies due to the fact that there was an attack at the american ministry of magic when ella was with her parents

‌ ━━━ remus can have tears on his face and mumble to the grave "you always made my life worth living"
