"You WHAT?!" She screamed.

"Uh.. I told them I didn't know who they were." I repeated, ashamed.

"What you SHOULD have done was told them you're a fan but without fangirling. I can't believe this. Their egos probably died.

She was disappointed. I didn't except her not to be.

"What do I do?" I asked desperately.

"I don't know." She shrugged. "Let's move on. So... Who do you think was the hottest?"

I laughed, relieved that she wasn't upset anymore. "All of them!"

"Hard decision, I know. But really, who?"

"Harry." I decided. There was just something about him...

 "His curls. Yeah."

"And his eyes. I don't know... Everything!"

She smiled. "Okay, well, to the next order of business... I have to meet them!! You have to take me to meet them!"

I hadn't expected her not to say that. I already planned on introducing her. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't?

"Oh course." I laughed. "Next time I go down there, I'll take you with me." I promised.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed, hugging me.

"Sure. Hey.. Today's Valentine's Day." I said randomly.

She blinked. "You're right! Gosh, how lame are we? I swear I'll be forever alone." She sighed.

"Maybe not. Maybe once you meet One Direction, you and one of the boys will fall in love and live happily ever after." I suggested.

She snorted. "Yeah. Sure."

"I'm serious."

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna go cook us some dinner. I'm starving." She got up and made her way to the kitchen. Hopefully this meal won't poison me like the last one did. Let's just say that's she's not the best cook in the world.

I woke up the next morning in a great mood. Tess's cooking last night luckily hadn't poisoned me. That doesn't mean it tasted good, it just means that I didn't get sick, which is good because I don't have to work today. Maybe I'll go shopping or something.

I rolled out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. I showered cold, which was very refreshing, and then picked out my clothes. I pulled on black skinny jeans, an off-the-shoulder white and pink striped shirt, and my favorite pink pair of converse. Then I applied minimal makeup, which was only a bit of blush and some blue we liner that made my bright blue eyes pop. I let my dark brown hair fall in its natural waves and skipped to the kitchen.

"Morning Tess!" I chirped.

"Morning! Why are you so happy?"

"Because I'm alive! Your food didn't kill me!"

She gave me a sour look. "Ha ha. Funny."

I just smiled sweetly at her. "I also don't have to work today!"

"Yes!" She jumped up from the chair she was sitting on. "I won't be lonely today!"

You're probably wondering why she would be lonely, right? Doesn't she have a job too? No, she doesn't. We don't have to pay rent for the apartment since my sister owns the place, which is nice. I get payed quite a bit for my job even though I don't really do that much. Having a sister that owns a hotel has its benefits.

"When are you gonna get a job?" I asked after thinking about it.

"I told you! I can't find one I like!" Oh, what a brilliant argument.

"You can work here! I keep telling you that! I can even get Britt to give us the same shifts!" I exclaimed for at least the millionth time.

"I'd feel guilty having her sister pay! You know that!" I also heard this a million times. It was always the same.

"She said she'd love to let you work here!"

She'd heard this so many times, yet she always said no. This time, however, she didn't seem as reluctant.

"Please!" I begged. "It would be so much better!" And then I thought of something evil. "If you don't, I won't take you to meet One Direction."

Oh, I'm just such an amazing friend, aren't I?

If you're reading this, then that means that I didn't scare you off! Whoo! Hopefully you like it so far? This was kinda a boring chapter I think. Ehh. It'll get better. Like, by the next chapter. Haha. :p
