Chp. 3

Trying to upload all the chapters this week, but we'll see how that goes. Please remember that some of the characters, statements, items, and places are from the games, I DO NOT OWN THEM!!!!!

We check out all the rooms in our one large room and decide which one is ours. I quickly place things were I think they should go, then try to think of an idea for dinner since I cook dinner now and dad does the dishes. I walk over to Lily's room, open the door and say "Lily, have you unpacked all of your stuff?" "Yes." "Oh, and Lily, what do you want for dinner?" "Spaghetti please." She says. I gently close the door and walk into the kitchen. Father set the ingredients and the pot on the counter. He probably figured that we wanted spaghetti. I look around and I don't see a knob to turn on the stove, but then I remember that I have a plasmid that allows me to light things on fire. I grab the pot put some water in it, but while I'm filling the pot I snap my fingers. I start to look up and I see the kitchen curtains burning. I take my half full pot of water and throw it at the flames. Phew. That was a close one. "Dad!" I yell. He comes running into the kitchen and as soon as he sees the curtains, he bursts out laughing. "It's not funny I could have set the whole house on fire!" I say. "Well what do you want me to do?" He says. "I don't know buy new ones?" I say nervously. "Um... no. I don't think so. Good bye now." He say then walks away. I refill the pot then finish cooking dinner. Once I finish, I feel that something is missing I have three plates of spaghetti and forks, but what is missing? OH! I know! My sister! I walk over and gently open the door to find the little bug sleeping after she asked for the spaghetti. I mean, I love spaghetti too, but come on. Whatever, I guess she can sleep on an empty stomach. I close the door, walk back into the kitchen, then call my father out for dinner. "Now what?" He says angrily. "Your food is ready!" I shout back. I grab my food and walk into my room. I look around at all the pictures of my mother and I, and tears trickle down my face. I start to sing a poem that my mother sang to me when I was little: Dare to dream, dare to fly, dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky. I sang the poem over and over and over again until I fell fast asleep.

I wake up the next morning, and look around for Lily. Bedroom: No. Kitchen: No. Living Room: No. Well, maybe she went out to explore....
