For a moment my heart stops. Adrenaline whizzes through the last strands of my golden hair to the tips of my elegantly poised toes, the gun shot still rings in my ears as well as the whistling wind. My hands arch above my head, suspend in a V shape, as if I'm going to dive down through the heavens. Never before have I experienced anything like this- it seems like I have been waiting for this moment my whole life. My hair is whipping up around my face like a tornado and I notice thousands of minute houses and ant like people whizzing millions of feet beneath me. Should I feel scared? Probably. But that emotion is a stranger to me right now. I live for the moment, excitement bubbles inside my heart as well as a tinge of nervousness that just increases the elation. I feel like a bird.
