It had been two days since Dean had said a word to Carol or I. Every time someone spoke to him the only response we got was either a dirty look, a shrug, or the middle finger. I could put up with him being a dick to me when I didn't deserve it, but treating Carol like shit wasn't going to fly with me.
Carol and I were sitting on the couch downstairs watching the Golden God Awards that we have had DVRed for a few months. We love re-watching it over and over again. That was when Dean decided to come out of his bedroom.
He looked good in a pair of back skinny jeans and a blue hoodie. The only problem with his outfit choice is the fact that it's like eighty degrees outside. Dumbass motherfucker.
Dean glared at Carol and I who were just minding our own business. I looked over at him and flipped him off. He advanced towards me but stopped when Carol gave him a disapproving look. Instead he walked over and stood in front of the television.
“Dude! Get the fuck out of the way, I am trying to fantasize about Andy Biersack!” I screamed and Carol laughed from next to me.
“I'm going out.” Dean's voice was cold as usual. Honestly, I was kind of shocked hearing it after two days of silence.
“You can't go alone. I was told that someone had to keep an eye on you for the first week that you are under my roof.” Carol said slowly then looked over at me. I began to shake my head no. I didn't like the look on her face, “Sammie, will you please go with him. I don't want him to feel like a prisoner and that he has to stay locked up in this house all the time.”
“Come on Carol?! You can't expect me to go with him!” I looked at her with pleading eyes.
“Please Sammie.” Carol asked again.
I rolled my eyes and go up off of the couch, “Fine, come on Captain Asshole, lets go.”
After slipping my knee high Converse on and making sure my shorts and black tank top looked okay to be seen in public. I walked out the front door not even bothering to see if Dean was following. If he really wanted to go somewhere he would follow.
I turned to look behind me and sure enough Dean was walking down the driveway behind me with his hands in his hoodie pockets and his shoulders slumped low.
“Where do you want to go?” I mumbled.
“Away from here.” Dean growled.
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” I snapped back.
“It means that I want to get the fuck out of that happy fucking shit hole you dumbass!” Dean yelled and I stopped in my tracks. He's was pissed because the house is a happy place to be?
“What the hell is your problem?” I asked in a disgusted tone. This guy was really beginning to piss me the hell off.
“Just fucking drop it.” Dean rubbed his head and pushed past me, “You have any cigarettes?”
“Yeah.” I nodded even though he wasn't looking at me.
“Give me one.” Dean turned around and held his hand out.
“Excuse me? That was rude!” I shouted and furrowed my eyebrows.
“Just give me a fucking cigarette!” Dean shouted and took a step towards me.
“What's the magic word?” I crossed my arms over my chest stubbornly.
“Pain in the ass!” Dean shoved me backwards and the fiddled with his hands “Please give me a fucking cigarette?”
After picking myself up off the grass I pull a pack of Newport’s out of my back pocket and pull him out a cigarette, “There, was that so hard? The shove really wasn't necessary though.”
