"Is that the best you got?" Bertron mocked the seven-year-old Elena who was breathing harshly and was barely able to stand. Her bare feet were bleeding due to the debris stuck on them since she has been training for three hours continuously.
"I'M TIRED!" she cried, tears threatening to escape her eyes.
"How could you be tired when all you have been doing is walk and run. I haven't even started the real training yet," Bartron growled at her.
Elena sniffed while she tried her best to not let the tears fall. Bertron saw that and walked up to her with three long strides. He harshly grabbed her chin and made her look up at him.
"Don't you dare show any weakness!" he growled making her flinch, "You don't have any WEAKNESS!"
Elena's lips quivered. "Daddy stop! You...you are hurting me." Finally, the first strand of tears fell down.
Bertron narrowed his eyes, his grip tightened to the extinct that her jaw could easily break. "I SAID, DON'T SHOW ANY WEAKNESS!"
"STOP!" A bright flash of red light appeared between the two which threw Bertron far away. Horrified what just happened, Elena looked at her hands that were still glowing red. She looked at Bertron who was still lying at a distance. Immediately, she got on her knees and started to rub her hands, "I...I'm sorry. I did..didn't mean to do that! I..."
Elena was silenced by the loud throaty laugh of Bertron who slowly stood up and look at Elena proudly. "Now that's what I'm talking about!"
Elena sat straight up straight in her bed waking up from the nightmare. Think layer of sweat was covering her skin. Elena took a few deep breaths reminding herself that it was nothing but a dream. But was she kidding with, it was her reality, her past that has been hunting her for years.
