Dear Reeder,
It is a privilege to be back again with yet another exciting tale to tell. It's been a long time coming, since I announced this project and started its promotional campaign on various social media platforms. It feels incredibly surreal since then, as I can vividly recall the events that transpired on the 16th of July, the very day I wrote the first chapter of this novel but we're here alas—about to embark on another, exhilarating, voluble ride.
Resurgence is the second novel in the Repel Series after Rebellion. The series central unifying theme is conflicting relationships. To expatiate, the books in this franchise are devoted to highlighting the vices, conflicts, battles, woes and throes, ups and downs that plague romantic relationships in the contemporary society. And so I won't call it a Romance novel because it deviates from the conventional stereotypes. Rather, I'd call it a relationship novel because it thrives on the vices of human relationships and their overall impact on the society. It is only under the Romance genre on this platform for the sake of classification.
There is a lesson of course to be learned, a subtle one—but don't over fixate your mind on that. Just sit up, grab a cup of coffee and a saucer of cookies and prepared to be thrilled, starting this December into next year. I promise you that this book will be worth your time, energy, anticipation and maybe even your tears.
