Yoongi POV
Sighing to myself, I run a hand through my hair before deciding to find Hoseok. He's got one hell of a grudge on his sister, and I want to sort out why. If he keeps on fighting her on everything, someone's going to get fucking hurt.
Though, deciding it best, I stop to the computer room first. Hopefully, Ryujin won't mind too much of me stealing Namjoon for a bit so that he'll join me in talking to Hoseok. Namjoon is the only one here who knows the most about her aside from Hoseok himself, and Namjoon was still at the company longer than her brother was.
"Hyung? Everything okay?" Namjoon asks curiously when I reach the room. I sigh, running a hand through my hair.
"I need you to come with me. You currently know the most about Ryujin than anyone else here with the exception of her and I want to have a conversation with Hoseok. We need to sort things out with him and figure out what the hells going on with him." I explain with a small frown. He simply nods and gets up to follow me upstairs.
When we get there, I quickly find Hoseok's room being the only room with the door closed. I knock twice before opening the door, not bothering to wait on an answer with Namjoon following behind me and shutting the door after us.
"Hyung? Namjoon? What's going on? Is everything okay?" Hoseok asks, sitting up immediately on his bed.
"I want to talk with you, Hoseok. You've got a clear hatred for your sister and I want to get to the bottom of this. We need to sort this out and put an end to this before everything goes to shit because of it." I inform him as Namjoon and I take a seat on the end of his bed. He groans, rolling his eyes as he sits up against the headboard.
"Why the hell is she all you ever want to fucking talk about?" He groans in annoyance.
"I mean, she is his fiancée, Hoseok. But he wants to settle what's going on between the two of you. Not about anything else." Namjoon explains for me.
"You're not going to settle shit between us. I hate her and I will always hate her. I will never claim her to be anything of relation to me. I haven't since I was eleven." He speaks coldly.
"I want to get to the bottom of this, Hoseok. I want to know why the hell you hate her so much. Especially after everything she's done for us since she came." I tell him calmly.
"Because she's a piece of shit. She's a fucking monster that deserves to rot in hell for all of eternity." He snaps almost instantly. I sigh, ruffling my hair in attempt not to smack him from frustration.
"Why though? Why do you think such things of her?" I prod.
"She's the reason my fucking mother is dead. She's the goddamned reason we had to stop hanging out with you. She's the fucking reason Taehyung is dead. Need I go on? It's obvious she's the fucking reason for even our father's death. She always had our fathers attention. It was always on her to the point that he hardly paid attention to Tae and I.
"She fucking kills everyone around her and attracts the fucking attention of every single goddamned person near her. She killed my brother and mother and was the reason I'd lost one of my best friends, Yoongi. That combined with the fact that she always warranted every ounce of attention was enough for me to be sick of her and leave when I was eleven." Hoseok bursts in frustration and anger.
"Hoseok, she never killed any one of them..." Namjoon says hesitantly, probably afraid of causing another outburst.
"How the fuck would you know anything, Namjoon? You weren't fucking there." Hoseok growls.
"I was there, Hoseok. Just not in the forefront. I was there in the back. In the shadows. In the surveillance rooms. I'd been hiding in there since I was around four years old, hyung. She wasn't the one who killed them. Not once, not a single one of them. Each of those deaths meant just as much to her as it did to you, if not more." Namjoon informs him softly.
"Bullshit they affected her. It was just a front, Namjoon. You don't fucking know her. You don't know the monster that she fucking is." Hoseok hisses at the younger boy.
"Is that so, Hoseok? You were jealous of the amount of attention your father gave her, right? Did you ever think about how much the amount of attention on her affected her? Your father constantly spent time alone with her, right? Did you ever think of what was happening behind closed doors when she was receiving so much attention, Hoseok?" Namjoon begins challenging. Hobi stays quiet, glaring at the boy sat at my side as he waits for him to continue, the answer obvious.
"I was there, Hoseok. I saw what was happening behind those closed doors. You've always been so jealous of how much time he always spent with her, right? You always thought he was helping her, yes? Training her to perfection and praising her so constantly, paying more attention to her and thinking that she was so much better than you, right? Thinking your father and Ryujin had some special fantastic bond and that you never once crossed their minds?" Namjoon continues challenging.
"If you think that's not the case, then what the hell was going on, Namjoon? You clearly seem to think that you saw through my father and my sister a million times better than I ever could, that you know Ryujin better and that I'm missing out on the bigger picture. Why don't you tell me what the hell I was missing all along then?" Hoseok challenges.
I glance over at Namjoon in concern. It's clear than he's a bit fed up with Hoseok's ignorance, but he's obviously also hesitant about telling him what he knows. However, he sighs and runs a hand through his hair.
"Hoseok,... she didn't get the way she is now through the years while you weren't around. It was happening right in front of your eyes but you were so damn blindsided by jealousy that you never saw it.
"Your father created a hell for her to live in. You heard her say that she'd never been in a relationship before when I was trying to get answers from her. I can promise you it's because of your father. Because he instilled into her while you all were still friends with Yoongi, that she couldn't develop feelings. That she had to control her emotions and body no matter what happens because she'd always be working around guys an couldn't afford to get distracted.
"She was forced to stop hanging out with Yoongi before you and Tae had been forced to. She was beaten and shot and starved and put through absolute hell, Hoseok. You never noticed it from your jealousy, but she was losing weight right in front of your eyes. She would leave every time she'd been with your father covered in bruises and cuts.
"He toughened her up by force. Looking and pretending to be a male wasn't enough for him. While it had been part of keeping her hidden and strong and not allowing her the ability for anyone to find her weak, he never realized the damage he did to her. You never noticed the damage he did to her.
"Those deaths took a toll on her, hyung. You thought you were hurting after your mother's death? She had to see it firsthand, not just hear, and got abused for it after. Your mother's death. Taehyung's death. She got abused for it. Your father punished the hell out of her for it. And she took that pain inwards. I can promise you she still blames herself to this day for not having been fast enough, for not having done more to keep them alive.
"You saw her become colder after each death and you felt like she was taking it out on you, Hoseok, but she wasn't. She was cold towards everyone. She was hardest on herself though. And what you didn't see, was how much harder it got on her when you left. Once again going through a beating for the fact that you had somehow disappeared and it affected her as much as Tae's death did.
"You were also pissed because she was constantly stealing money and you were mad because I let her go without giving reason. I can almost promise you that she was stealing money to try and find you. She's not stopped keeping an eye out for the gang that killed Tae since that day and I can guarantee that she's been searching for you ever since you disappeared as well. Your disappearance near killed her, Hoseok.
"You continue calling her a monster. And if she's a monster, then it wasn't by her own hand but your father's. Your her last living relative, Hoseok, and she cares about you deeply despite how you treat her. While you may have felt hatred when you first saw her again in Yoongi hyungs office, I can promise that it was relief and surprise in her eyes when she found you. I don't know how much longer she's going to last if you keep treating her the way you've been. All she's ever done is try to help, hyung."
