This chapter contains mild spoilers from my now completed story, You & I. I suggest you read that before this!

I got three job applications. One from Panda Express and the other two were from some badass store Calum, Luke, Ashton, and Michael shop at. We drop everyone off one by one after walking to the beach. Lillian and Luke are dropped off at Luke's, Ashton was dropped off at Addison's, and Michael and Calum were dropped off at Michael's.

"I'll call you later," said Calum.

I nodded, agreeing with a smile.

Liv pushes open the back door and Cindy runs up to us. "Oh thank God you're here! I need y'all's opinion."

I turn to Ava, "I think she was meaning you?"

"No, no, no darling," Cindy says fluffing out her big, blonde hair. "I mean you as well."

I groan and loll my head back. "What is it that you want my opinion on?"

"Decorations. We're having a barbecue!" Cindy smiles and claps her hands like a little girl.

Cindy turns around and walks into the living room. Ava silently groans. "Crap. Another barbecue."

"Are they really that bad?" I ask her, walking into the living room.

"Yes! The worst! Because every year, Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael's families come and mom and your dad judge them from afar. I have to sneak to kiss him. I have to sneak to hug him for God's sake!"

"Don't you do that anyways?" I had pulled Ava into the arch near the living room.

"Yeah, but still." Ava crosses her arms and looks away.

"Girls! Come on!" Cindy calls from the living room.

Ava and I both groan and stumble into the living room. Cindy was debating over a black tablecloth or a red one.

This is seriously what she wanted our opinion on?

"Black or red?" She asks.

"Red," Ava quickly says. I'm sure she's just trying to get the hell out. I know I am.

"I don't care which color. I'm fine with whatever." I say.

Cindy's eyebrows furrow. She opens her mouth to say something but just snaps it shut.

"What time does the barbecue start?" I ask.

"Everyone's coming at five." Cindy replies, fixing her pink hair clip.

"Ugh, that's in three hours." I turn and walk away, climbing up the stairs to my room.

I walk over to the desk that held the Apple laptop and pulled the chair back. I sit and crack open the laptop. I log onto Twitter and I see that I have ten new followers. One of those followers being Calum Hood.

I click on his user and I see all of his posts and tons of followers. His fans had commented on all of his posts talking about how hot he is an how talented they are.

I don't think that Calum told me what his band's name was. I pull up Google and type in 'Calum Hood'. He instantly comes up along with Michael, Luke, and Ashton. Them combined is 5 Seconds of Summer, the Australian rock band. Their songs from their album, Somewhere New we're listed.

I click on 'Unpredictable' and listen intently. It's amazing! I don't know why Calum didn't go into detail with his band.

"Their band is hot, right?" A voice says from the doorway.

I jump and spin around in my chair. Ava walks in and pulls up another chair. She sits next to me and takes over the laptop.

"You've got to stop doing that." I say, putting a hand on my heart.
