Lunch Break

After what felt like several hours of flying, you and Flynn eventually traded positions in pilot mode while you rested for a bit. The Salem nightmares of course returned. However, this was happening for about a week and half by now. You weren't really fazed by anything anymore in those dreams. You finally were awoken when you felt the ship touch down onto something, something hard. You stammer yourself awake. Once you did wake up, you saw that Ruby had also been sleeping, using you as a body pillow.

(Y/N): Ugh. What's happening? Where are we?

Ruby: And why does my neck hurt?

(Y/N): Because you decided to use me as a pillow.

Ruby: Oh ok.

Ruby then cuddled up to you.

Qrow: Alright you kids break it up. We just stopped near the coast. Oz and I figured we'd refuel here and maybe spend a day or two kickin' back.

Flynn: But haven't we done that for two weeks now?

Qrow: Yeah. But two key things. One; we're far enough from Mistral to not attract any unwanted attention. And two; Burly and I can see the nearby ladies!

Flynn: Aren't you like a nearly 50 year old man?

Qrow: SHUT IT! BURLY! MOVE OUT!

With that, Qrow and Burly just shot off into nothingness, leaving everyone else in shock and confusion. You just rolled your eyes and got up, knocking Ruby down in the process. You walked out of the ship and saw you were in some hanger bay. Ruby walked down besides you.

Ruby: Where are we exactly?

(Y/N): No idea.

Weiss: Panna. A small costly village in the north of Mistral. Right near the official border between Mistral and Atlas.

(Y/N): Well then. So...what do you want to do?

Ruby: What?

(Y/N): I don't know. Lunch maybe?

Weiss: Flynn, Oscar and Jaune ran out to get fuel. And to quote Nora, for once, this is a "couple's" day.

Ruby: Dibs!

(Y/N): Wait what?

Ruby grabbed your hand and dashed out towards the town. Weiss face palmed and sighed to herself. Silver walked up to Weiss and sighed with her.

Silver: Those two, I swear.

Weiss: One of these days they're going to ruin one another's lives with that relationship.

Silver: I know right.

Silver and Weiss look down together and see their hands intertwined with one another. A blush grows on their faces and they lock eyes with one another.

Weiss and Silver: NO...maybe? (They look around and then back to one another) Yeah.

Back with you and Ruby. Ruby had finally stopped running around like a mad woman and let go of your hand. The two of you were walking along and taking in the sights of the town as you were grasping your hand due to the pain it was in because of Ruby.

Ruby: Look, I said I'm sorry, ok?

(Y/N): Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Still hurts. (Smiles) On the plus side, your grip is getting better. I guess that training was more of a benefit than we thought.

Ruby: Yeah. I guess so. So...what do you want to do?

(Y/N): Well, before you destroyed my hand and dragged me into this place, lunch?
