AN: I'm really having difficulty finishing this story. I know there are a lot of you that like this story and I'm very happy that is the case. I'm trying to get myself into writing this again but it's going slowly. I may end up just quickly fixing mistakes in the original chapters just to push something out for you all and not completely rewriting it. Only because when I completely rewrite the chapters, I feel like the time is dragging on and I don't want to finish it. (also for the fact that I'm writing something I've already written again and again.) So, I have 5 more original chapters. Would you rather me completely rewrite the chapters or just refresh them? (ex. fixing just the punctuation and sentences that don't make any sense.) Please, comment here and let me know.

Chapter 20

'Ministry passes educational degree number twenty-three: Delores Umbridge appointed Hogwarts High Inquisitor,' was the headline the next morning. Harry knew he had to go talk to Umbridge and try to become friends with her... even if she was a pink toad. Umbridge could bring him to higher places and make it easier for him to get Dumbledore out of the lime-light while also helping to stop people from worshipping the ground the old man walked on.

Harry continued to read the paper and came across another headline while smirking, 'Albus Dumbledore apprehended from Gringotts for tampering with adoption papers. Why is Albus Dumbledore trying to use adoption papers on an emancipated Harry Potter?' – Dumbledore was taken into custody last night straight to a holding cell in the Ministry to await his trial. At the moment, Delores Umbridge will also be taking over as Headmistress of Hogwarts as well as High Inquisitor. What was Dumbledore doing when he decided to make false adoption papers for the Boy-Who-Lived? As I'm told, Harry Potter is emancipated and happily at that.

That's right, readers... It seems as if Dumbledore doesn't like the fact that Harry Potter is not under his thumb anymore. Gringotts has spoken of how Albus Dumbledore had been Potter's magical guardian for years since that night in Godric's Hollow and hasn't once acted like one. Harry was living with muggle relatives and hadn't even seen Dumbledore's face once before coming to Hogwarts his first year.

After the Tri-wizard tournament, the goblins say that within the binding contract that made Potter play, also made Potter emancipated because since the goblet was tricked into allowing Potter entry, it also considered him an adult.

That's not all... the goblins also reported that Dumbledore wouldn't stop demanding for adoption papers and asking why he wasn't Harry Potter's guardian anymore. He said the following, 'I was suitably confused when my monthly payment was not delivered.' That's right! Albus Dumbledore has been stealing from the Potter vaults since young Harry was placed with his relatives. None of those payments were for the benefit of Harry.

Now you may ask, what will happen to Albus Dumbledore now? Stealing, tampering and neglect of a child in his care. That is the question we need answered. Albus Dumbledore's trial will be held tomorrow at noon. We were very pleased to bring you this news.

The Daily Prophet

Harry could literally kiss Rita. He may have had a grudge against her but right now, she was perfect. Nobody will like that Dumbledore was stealing and neglecting a child. It was a masterpiece.

Harry knew Dumbledore would get away with it though but at least if it came down to it, he might have some allies.

Anyway, that would explain why Umbridge was lounging on Dumbledore's throne like she owned it and like it was her birthright. Harry glanced over at Tom and smiled lightly. He felt like he hardly had any time with Tom and the man was so close to him.
