"What the fuck are we doing here?" Hoseok growls as I park in front of the familiar building.
"Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok, I need the three of you with me. The rest of you stay here. Call us if there's an issue." I instruct, ignoring my brothers question as I get out of the car. The boys do as asked, though my brother is still glaring at me.
"If you think I'm going the fuck back in there, you're dead ass wrong." Hobi snaps at me. I don't look at him, my eyes trained on the building in front of me that holds far too many memories.
"Look, I wouldn't be asking you to come in if I didn't need you to. There's things in there that we need and I can't carry all of it. Otherwise I'd be the only one going in." I explain before walking up towards the front entrance. He grumbles some shit under his breath but follows us anyways.
Stepping foot inside the building with Yoongi beside me and Namjoon right behind us, I freeze for a moment. I can easily picture all the people running around to get to where they need to be with the things they needed.
"If you think there's gonna be anything left of use to us by now in here, you're going to be wrong, Ryujin. Plenty of gangs have probably already been in here and gutted the entire building for all its worth." Hoseok says with a sigh.
I roll my eyes, heading towards the elevator. Pressing the button and waiting for it to arrive, I decide to comment on my brothers thoughts.
"That might be true if it weren't for the fact that there's far too many secrets of this building that other gangs didn't know about. The only thing they would've been able to really get out of here is the drugs. There's not a single gang who'd be able to touch the weapons and such unless they had someone who remembered the secrets as I do." I inform him as the elevator arrives.
We all step on and I press a few different floors in a certain pattern before all the buttons lit up go dark again. Yoongi merely watches in surprise while Hoseok rolls his eyes, Namjoon's expression similar to Yoongi's.
"After all these years, you still remember that?" Namjoon questions with slightly widened eyes. Sighing as I look to the ground, I tap my head.
"There was more than just one reason why my father was so hard on me and trained me the way he did." I answer softly, keeping my gaze on the floor until the elevator comes up.
Walking out onto the barren floor, I feel completely numb. I lead the way silently, going a short ways down the hall before arriving at a particular door.
Typing in the code from memory, the door opens up to allow us entry. The three boys once again follow me inside before I hear Yoongi and Namjoon gasping in surprise. Looking around the room, there's all sorts of guns and ammo and bombs and grenades and knives scattered in their proper location. There's different sorts of targets and dummies around the room as well for people to practice on.
"Go around and grab whatever weapons you want. Make sure you've got enough that you're stocked and will be ready if we get attacked or need to make an attack. Don't forget to grab some for Jimin and Jungkook as well, they'll need stuff too." I instruct as I walk over to one of the walls.
Feeling around the wall a bit, I find the right place and press in on it which reveals a door. I can still feel eyes on me as I open the door, revealing the one outfit I'd left in here for myself. I'd came back here a couple years ago and left myself an outfit if I needed it or was on the run in the process of trying to find Hoseok. It'll work for this situation though.
"How the hell do you have anything here in your size? The police raided this place eight years ago." Hoseok asks in confusion.
"I had a feeling I'd be back here at one point and in need of better attire so I stopped in a few years ago to leave it. Go pick out your things as well as stuff for the others. I'll be out in a minute." I answer before stepping inside the mildly spacious room.
Closing the door behind me, I flick the light on before sighing and stripping from the bloodied dress. Grabbing out the gauze and tape from the wall of the small room, they're always left here considering it is a room that makes it easy to get injured.
Grabbing the tweezers as well, I sit down on the floor of the small room and begin pulling out the bullets from earlier. Once I've got those out, I begin wrapping up all of the areas that I have bleeding and rewrap my rib cage and shin again. Once that's all done, I drag myself back onto my feet and pull on the clothes I'd left here.
Stepping back out, the boys all turn in my direction with wide eyes. Rolling my eyes at them, I head over to the wall where the guns are. Quickly grabbing two guns and backup ammo, I then move to the knives and stock up on it.
"Are you guys ready yet?" I question as I turn back to them. They all nod their heads.
"Good. There's one more stop I need to make in here and we'll be good to go." I inform them as I grab a small bag and start tossing grenades and bombs and extra guns and ammo into. They simply nod their heads in response.
"But where the hell are we going to go from here?" Namjoon questions as we exit the room. I sigh at the question as we head back towards the elevator.
"There's a place I know of. The only people who knew it existed was me, my father, and my uncle. We should be safe there for a while." I answer as we go up to the top floor.
"Why are we up here, Ryujin?" Hoseok asks, sounding slightly upset by it.
"You all can wait here if you want. I have to stop at two rooms and then we can go." I inform them before walking away.
Stepping into the first room that I need things from, it's an eerie feeling being back in my parents bedroom. It's been so long and the memories of both of them are haunting.
I force myself to keep moving as I go over to my father's side and uncover the hidden safe on his side. Taking a deep breath, I grab out the gun and money that's been left in here before closing it up and walking out of the room.
The next room I stop at is the bedroom Hobi, Tae and I used to share. Entering in the room, I have to pause and squeeze my eyes shut for a moment.
"Kids, hurry! Hide! Get in your hiding places now and don't make a sound!" Eomma whisper shouts as she begins shaking us all awake. My eyes shoot open immediately realizing there's a problem if she's in here in the middle of the night.
Looking around the room, I can spot Hobi rushing into his hiding place inside the closet as Tae rushes to the secret spot on the other side of the room.
"Eomma? What's going on? What's wrong?" I question, standing up and grabbing the gun from under my pillow. She shakes her head at me as she smacks me across the face and points for me to go with Tae.
"No, Eomma! I want to help! What's going on?!" I question again. She just picks me up this time, shoving me inside the secret spot with Tae. However, the door to the area doesn't get completely closed which allows us to watch the scene play out before us.
Tae holds onto me from behind, digging his head into my back so as not to be able to see what's happening. However, when I watch the guy that's come into our room and been fighting Eomma actually shoot her. My eyes widen. Shoving Tae off of me, I pull my own gun out and click the safety lock off.
Feeling angry hot tears falling down my cheeks as I glare at the man who's just killed our mother, I pull the trigger three times, dropping him on the first bullet. Once he's dead, I drag his body out of the room and lock the door to our room as I fall to the floor sobbing.
Taking a deep breath, I walk over to my old bed. Kneeling down in front of it, I reach under the bed and unhook the gun and knife from where I'd last left it. Eyeing up the two weapons, I feel the anger slowly seep back into my veins. Grabbing both of them tightly, I stand up and exit the room.
As I hold onto the knife that was used to kill Taehyung and the gun that the man used to shoot my mother with, I walk back to the three boys and press the button for the elevator once more. I will get that fucker back and dead if it's the last thing I do, Tae. Nobody fucks with this family and gets away free.
