Finding a Ship

After the little nightmare you had while training, they became a regular thing for a couple of nights, even during the day at some point. As a result, Ruby never left your side, always there to comfort you and to ease you down from seeing Salem and constant images of Ruby dying in every dream you had of the witch. Yang would both make fun of you two and be seriously concern for both you and Ruby. Concerned for you since you were the most effected by the image of Salem and for Ruby, afraid you could be lying.

While this ticked Ruby off, you understood the reasoning and were perfectly find with it. You really liked having the attention from Ruby and her cuddling up to you. However, after a few days it got old and you both knew you had to move on from it. However, personal struggles needed to be put aside. For now, the group had to find means of transportation to Atlas.

You asked Weiss but she said her and her father were not on the best of terms currently. Meantime, Qrow, Flynn and JNR went around Mistral to find a ship. Then you had one last idea.

Weiss: NO!

Silver: (Y/N), that's absolutely insane!

(Y/N): It's a good idea!

Ruby: I don't know, (Y/N). I mean, steeling an airship from Haven? Seems kinda risky.

Yang: I like it! What about you guys?

Blake: I'm with Ruby. I'm not sure how well we can handle this.

Gure: I got (Y/N)'s back here. Besides, where else are we suppose to get an airship? And we can easily slip into the academy and take it. It's not like security's an issue.

Burly: Agreed. I'm with you, my friend.

(Y/N): See? Four against...everyone else. Seriously guys, come on. We can pull this off.

Flynn: Sorry, (Y/N). You're out voted. Besides, the last thing we need is to be wanted in Mistral.

(Y/N): No. The last thing we want is a victory for Salem. Besides, you and Qrow said it yourselves. It's better to find an airship now than later.

Flynn: It's too risky!

(Y/N): Since when did you become Dad?

Flynn: Since now! So, I'm putting my foot down! So NO!

You pouted but sat back down on the couch. After at least an hour of discussion, the entire group basically got no where with ideas failing left and right. Ultimately, you guys went back up to bed without a solution. You got into your bed as Ruby finished changing in her sister's room and walked back into your shared one. She was about to walk over to your bed, but you raised your hand and stopped her.

(Y/N): I think I'm fine for tonight.

Ruby: You sure?

(Y/N): Yeah. Positive.

Ruby: Ok. If you need anything, I'm right here. Obviously.

(Y/N): Got it. Goodnight.

Ruby: Night...er...

(Y/N): Still can't think of that nickname?

Ruby: Shut up!

With that, you two turned out the lights and called it a night. A couple of minutes later, your head shot up and you looked over to Ruby. She was still asleep. You slowly got out of your bed and grabbed your boots. You quickly put them on and grabbed your sword and headed out the door. Once you got downstairs, you saw Gure, Burly and Yang all waiting on you.
