I walked inside the house.
"Babe?"  I yelled seeing if Jess was here.

"In the kitchen!" He yelled.

I walked past the living room seeing my girls reading. I kissed their foreheads.

"Angels," I smiled.

"Mom," they smiled back.

I walked into the kitchen.

"Hey," Jess smiled and kissed me.

"Hey back," I grinned.

"Oh, MOM!!" Kenzie yelled.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Oh yeah!" Maggie nodded.

"What?" I laughed.

"We met a friend of yours today," Maggie grinned.

"You did? Which one? Who? You know all my friends," I laughed.

Jess followed me into the living room.

"The dude that Peter is based off of! The one from the old old scrapbook," Maggie spoke.

"Yeah, Logan hamburger or whatever," Kenzie giggled.

"Huntzburger!?" I asked.

"Yeah! That's the guy. He tried to like take us out to dinner! The creep," Kenzie spoke.

"He what!?" Jess asked.

"He tried to take us out to dinner. To talk. Again I say the creep," Kenzie spoke.

"He- Rory!" Jess spoke turning towards her.

"I know. I'll handle it. I just need to find him," I turned towards her.

"I'm coming," he spoke.

"Let me talk to him first. Then you can come," I smiled.

"Rory," Jess spoke, giving me that Jess look.

"I know. I know. I love you. Just let me talk to him first," I spoke.

"...fine but if he tries to pull anything like that again," Jess began.

"You will talk to him," I nodded.

"No, I'll kick his-" Jess began.

"Mom! Someone is at the door," Maggie spoke.

"I'll get it!" I shouted and ran towards the door.

Logan was standing there.

Jess stood behind me.

"Give me a moment," I spoke.

"Rory," he' spoke.

I kissed his cheek and closed the door.

"You talked to my daughters?" I asked.

"Ace," he began.

"You asked my daughters to dinner!?" I yelled

"Ace, Listen," he began.

"What in the world is wrong with you!?" I yelled.

"Ace will you listen to me! I know they are mine! Don't try to lie to me! I know they are mine!" He yelled.

I hesitated.

"Logan," I began.

"I can't imagine how hard it was for you to raise them by yourself-" he began.

"I didn't do it by myself. I had Jess and my mom. And Luke," I corrected.

"I know but they are so much like you," he spoke.

"Kenzie has a lot of Jess and my mom in her," I spoke.

"Let me finish. I can imagine you doing it by yourself. I would have helped but, I understand why you didn't contact me. But, Ace I've changed. And I want to be in their lives," he spoke.

"What?" I asked shocked.

"I know it's a lot but, I want to be in their lives," he spoke.

"I... I don't know. I'll have to think. I have to talk to Jess. I have to talk to them. I have ask them," I spoke.

"...okay," he nodded.

I hesitated.

"I have to go," he spoke.

"What?" I asked.

"I have to go pick up my car from the mechanic. See you soon ace," he smiled and left.

I turned and walked in.

"Jess," I spoke.

I wasn't surprised to find him waiting for me right by the door.

"I think.... I think it might be a good idea for them to meet him," he spoke.

"Jess? Seriously?" I asked.

"Yeah. I mean I grew up without a dad and I think... I think a kid should at least know their dad," Jess spoke.

"They have a dad you," I spoke.

"I know. And I had Luke but I still think. I still think they should meet him," Jess spoke.

"Okay. Just let me talk to my mom and then I'll talk to the girls," I spoke.

He nodded and kissed my forehead.
