Walking into work fifteen minutes late, I quickly apologize to Jisung before heading towards the piano. However, when I exit the back where Jisung always works, I can already see the familiar smirking boy leaned against the piano at the front of the shop.
"Hello, Sir." I kindly greet as I sit down on the piano bench.
"I thought I told you my name already?" He says with a slight frown. I give him a smile as I begin playing.
"You did, Yoongi." I respond, trying to ignore the painful feeling that shoots through my body from his name rolling off my tongue.
"Good, you remembered. Have you thought about my offer, kitten?" He chuckles as he watches me play interestedly.
"I'm still not changing my answer, Yoongi." I inform him with a soft smile as I focus on the keys I'm pressing. He looks at me mildly surprised before returning to his seemingly arrogant expression.
"I'm impressed you have the guts to reject my offer twice, kitten. However, I'm afraid that I don't care to allow you to do that once again. I'll be seeing you soon, kitten. And I can promise you that it won't be here next time." He whispers the last part in my ear before exiting the shop.
I force myself to stay calm, not lose my cool as I continue playing the piano that's sat in front of me. I still can't believe that he's back. I'm not in the slightest bit surprised that he doesn't recognize me, knowing me by a completely different name and as a boy for that matter. Not to mention that it was thirteen years ago. It still hurts though.
The rest of the day goes by smoothly, despite Yoongi's warning that he'd be seeing me again before work tomorrow. His words continue to ring through my head throughout the entire day, but my work shift eventually ends and allows me to leave.
Walking back home, I keep my hands shoved in my pockets as I make my way to my apartment to continue on my search for Hobi. I don't even know anymore if he's still alive or what happened, but I need to know. I need to know if he's alive and if so what happened to him.
"No! Get the fuck away from us!"
"HELP!" I hear to feminine voice scream as I near an alleyway. My eyes widen as I rush towards the alley, looking down to find four seemingly drunk men pinning and attempting to assault two beautiful girls.
"YAH! Get the fuck away from them!" I shout as I start towards the group. My hand subconsciously goes for where I instinctively know my gun to be hidden on my hip whilst the other reaches for one of the hidden knives in my pants pocket.
"Well well well. What do we have here? Another pretty little lady wants to join us?" One of them chuckles.
"Let them go." I snarl as I grow closer, stopping a few good meters away from them.
"Oh? And are you going to take their place instead then?" Another one questions.
"Yes. Only after you've released them." I answer confidently. The girls look at me in surprise and worry before looking back to the men, then back to me.
"Fine! Get that fine little ass over here, sweetheart." The third one speaks up as he and the fourth man shove the two girls in my direction. They don't hesitate to hurry towards me, both of them grabbing hold of my arms in worry as they look at me.
"Are you sure about this? I don't want you to get hurt just because of us..." One of the girls sniffles.
"I'll be perfectly fine. I need the two of you to get out of here though." I tell them with a small smile.
"Are you sure though? There's four of them and they'll..." The second girl speaks up, tears evident on her cheeks as she hesitates to say the words.
"Look, I promise I'll be perfectly fine. I need the two of you to get out of here though. Go back home, and erase this night from your memory. You don't know me nor have you ever seen or heard me speak before. Okay? Now get out of here." I inform them. They give me confused and worried looks once more before rushing out of the alley.
Walking up to the four of them, I crack my knuckles. They all chuckle as I walk up to them before the first guy slams me against the brick wall.
"Sorry, boys. I'm afraid you've picked the wrong girl to pick on." I smirk at them. In an instant, I pull my gun out. Dropping down low, I quickly spin around and shoot all four of them in either the chest or right between the eyes before standing again.
Almost instantly, I hear sirens sounding as I reach around the four of them to pull out two of their own guns and aim them at each other. As the sirens sound louder, I shove my gun away before running out of the alleyway in the back and rushing away from the area. After getting about a block away, I slow my pace and breathing to a normal rate.
I soon reach my apartment again and a sigh of relief escapes me. Locking the door behind me, I sit down at my desk and boot up my laptop. Getting to work on searching for my brother and making different little payments here and there to help me get through some things, I quickly lose track of time.
*Knock Knock Knock*
I frown at the sudden noise that interrupts my work. Sighing in frustration, I look at the clock on my desk only to decide to ignore whoever's there considering it's ten o'clock at night anyways. However, after a couple of minutes, they knock again. Groaning in frustration this time, I stand.
Deciding to just head off to a little hole in the wall coffee shop after this, I quickly pack my things up. Quickly grabbing my laptop bag, I place my laptop and my gun inside before slipping on all of my knives where they belong. Slipping them into the small place attached in my black leather jacket pockets, up the insides of my sleeves, insides of my black ripped skinny jeans, and the insides of my combat boots on both sides of my ankles.
As they knock on my door once again, I roll my eyes and tell them I'll be there in a second. I slide my bag onto my shoulder before walking over to the door and opening it. However, I don't think there's any preparing me for what would've happened next.
Opening the door to greet and possibly yell at whoever's on the other side of my door, I don't have a chance to do either. The moment I have it opened enough for me to peek out, a guy quickly steps towards me and shoves a clearly chloroformed cloth in my face. I don't have enough time to react to everything that I end up gasping in surprise exactly as the cloth is placed over my mouth.
Within seconds, everything goes dark. Not knowing what's happening. Not knowing who's taking me. Not knowing anything.
