"Aaahh!" Alice dropped a big gasp.
"What do you mean she was drugged... auch!" Sam wanted to jump from her place but the pain shoot through her leg. Luckily Ryan’s reaction was prompt as he slid his hands under her arms and caught her.
"How bad is that thing?" Oliver asked with concern. Sam’s eyes were closed, while she concentrated in controlling the pain and the heat rush that was running through her veins and making her blush heavily. She could still feel the trace Ryan’s fingers left on her skin, making her shiver.
Without a word, Ryan took his jacket off and put it on her shoulders but the warmth offered no comfort for the sparkle running through her.
"What happened?" Alice asked confused.
Oliver was pacing nervously around, running his fingers through his hair and pulling at it.
"I got a call from the police. Rose was asking for me and Jess gave them my number," he finally managed to say.
"Jess was there?" Alice asked with a deep frown on her face.
"Yeah, well..." Oliver started.
"It's my fault," Sam said it in a whisper.
"What are you talking about?" asked Oliver.
"Oh, can I see her?" she bursted into uncontrollable crying.
"I'm waiting for the doctor to come out. She's in there with all these people. Fuck, if I knew she's into drugs, I wouldn't have ever got her with us.."
"She's not like that," Alice defended.
"Rose would never do drugs," Sam tried to reason with her brother. "It's that wicked woman you bring with you all the time, " Sam threw it back at her brother.
"Don't you think I gave her a piece of my mind, too?" Oliver shouted back. "But... apparently she's been drugged too."
"And? Where is she? Is she having her stomach washed out as well? " Sam asked for proof of innocence.
"Not really..." Oliver scratched the back of his head.
"Didn't think so!" noted his sister.
They all tried to calm down eventually and waited for someone to come with news, but through the door of the waiting room came Jess, in tangled feet, barely managing to keep herself straight.
"Ollie.." she slurred and went straight to him. She tried to reach him with her arms in an embrace but Oliver mooved away from it and she almost fell to the floor.
Tyler went to pick her up, while Oliver tried his best to ignore her and looked away.
"You bitch!" shouted Sam from her place and wanted to lash at her, but thankfully enough Ryan was there again to calm her down.
"Hello, gorgeous!" Jess caressed Tyler’s arm as he was helping her sit down, but Tyler only smiled back at her.
"See, somebody who loves me," she tried to make a point.
"I think that's called being a gentleman," Alice gritted back at her while throwing her a murderous look.
That gained her a blown up kiss and a wink from Tyler who went to sit next to her.
"Jealous?" he asked with a smile.
"Don't fool yourself," she mimicked a disgusted look.
"I saw the look you gave her. Was it because she touched me?" he asked wickedly.
