---Annie POV---

I woke up to Katie running in my room and jumping on my bed.

"Cuzzy! Emma's here!"

"Can you tell her ill be out in fifteen?" I asked kissing her cheek.

She nodded and ran out. I quickly got dressed in waist high shorts and a red crop top and a pair of black lips on it. I slipped on my red chucks and went to the living room. Katie and Emma were coloring.  Emma was always good with kids. She looked like a girl version of Nathan.

"Hey, wanna go for a walk?" Emma said

"Sure. Let me grab my phone," I said then walked back to my room.

I told Natalie I was going for a walk and text my dad. Walking out the door with Emma made me feel normal. She was the best friend anyone could ask for.

"I'm sorry about the whole protective bull shit."

"Hey it's cool, I completely understand."

"So I was thinking you could come over for a girls night. Nathan is supposed to be going out. Figured you'd be bored tonight. Plus he's kidnapping Derek."

"Glad we could be each other's destraction to a lonely night."

Emma giggled and we kept walking.

---Later That Night---

My phone went off and I quickly checked it hoping it was a text from Nathan, but it was Emma.

Emma: Come over!

Me: Ok. Be right there.

I walked out of my room and my mom stopped me in the hallway, "Annie, where are you going?"

"Oh okay. See you later." She said.

I walked out of my living hell. How could she be so cold? She hadn't told me she loved me since my dad left her. Maybe because I looked like him. Maybe because I told her I hated her. Maybe because I'd walked in while she was kissing Ned and yelled causing my father to run in.

Ned and my dad had been best friends when they were kids. If he and my mom never kissed they'd still be best friends and my parents would still be together. I shook my head to clear those thoughts when I walked up to Emma's. I heard music coming from the back yard.

Forever could never be long enough for me

Feel like I've had long enough with you

Forget the world now, we won't let them see

But there's one thing left to do

I knew this song. It was Marry Me by Train. I loved this song. I walked to the backyard. The trees had lights hanging in them. There were red and pink roses all over the place. I looked around and saw Nathan standing in the middle of the backyard. I walked towards him.

Now that the weight has lifted

Love has surely shifted my way

When I stood in front of him he got down on one knee and opened a velvet box. In the box was the most amazing ring I had ever seen. It was a large circle diamond and the band had smaller diamonds on it.

"Annie, you are the most amazing girl I've ever met. I want to spend the rest of my life by your side. Will you marry me?" Nathan asked.

Marry me today and every day

Marry me if I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe

Say you will, say you will

Tears filled my eye and I smiled and nodded,"Yes! A million times yes!"

He slipped the ring on my finger and picked me up and swung me around in a circle kissing me. I heard clapping and turned to see my dad, Lauren, my mom, Ned, Tommy, Natalie, Katie, Jaxon, Emma, Derek, and Nathan's parents, Anthony and Jane.

A/N: I promise to write more soon.
