I took off all of next week and a few days after that.

On both of my jobs.

On Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays I work at Starbucks.

On Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays I work at game stop.

Sundays were my day off.

*next week*

"Call me when you land." My mom says to me at the airport.

"Yeah I will."

Since our flight was early I really didn't feel like changing into normal people clothes, I wore my Mario pajamas pants and X-Ray shirt.

And because Julie and I pretty much always matched, she wore Luigi pajama pants and Vav shirt.

We boarded and she immediately fell asleep.

About an hour later she woke up and I was on my 3DS replaying Mario for like the 4th time.

"Rosie?" She asked rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah sweetie?"

"Isn't that Ray next to us?"

I look over and I saw Ray and Tina talking.

Oh my gosh.

This is like a scenario in a fanfiction or something.

"I'm gonna get their autographs!" She said grabbing her doodle pens and paper and walking over.

"Julie-." It was too late.

I tuck my head down and focused on playing.

I was pretty socially awkward but for Julie, she was like a social butterfly.

"Hi Mr. Narvaez, could you sign this for my sister? She's really nice and really likes you and she's right over there!" I look over and they're both looking at me.

I turn as red as my mask so I look away back at my DS.

"Well she's really shy and doesn't know how to start conversation-"

She sighs.

"That's not true!" I blurt out.

They both look at me and I nervously chuckle.

"Well then, start a conversation with me." Ray smiles.

"Uh..hi, I'm Rosalyn, big fan of your work."

He chuckles and says, "hi I'm Ray."

Julie returns to her seat and we continue talking.

"So how long have you been in the community?" He asks.

"I think a little over 3 years now?"

"Make any videos?"

I didn't really know what to say, the Masks identity has to remain a secret.

Cliché I know but I don't want people to know me. The mask give me a kind of, I dunno. Confidence.

"Yes you do!" Julie interjects.

"Whoa, secrets aren't fun Rose." He raises an eyebrow.

"Well, it's just- I don't- I'm not-" I stumble with my word.

"What?" He asks.

"Mask." I repeat.

"Are you? Oh my god, I love you videos they're so funny!" He says.

"The Gamers Mask. Yep, that's me." I pull out my mask from my purse and put it on briefly.

"Well, I now have the gamers apprentice." I say gesturing to Julie.

She puts on her purple mask.

"That is so cool."

"Not as cool as being tuxedo mask." I chuckle.

"Well, if you ever wanna come backstage, tell 'em Ray said it was okay." He signed a piece of paper and gave it to me.

"Re- really? Thank you."

"I'm not the only one who watches your content." He smiles.

"Who- who else watches?" I stutter.

"The main 6. We've wanted to recruit you for a year now, but we didn't know who you were."

I then realized, every embarrassing story, every stutter, every clueless moment in a game. They saw.

I could feel my skin turn red.

"Recruit me? Really? There are way better people to recruit than me."

"Don't be so modest, you're an awesome gamer."

"Well, I have a life back in New York..."

"So did I. I'm not saying you have to take the job, I'm just gonna say, to what is gonna make your heart happy."

He doesn't remember does he?

He doesn't remember we went to school together, does he?
