Matt held me in his arms, rubbing my arm. I had goosebumps from his touch.
"You're really an amazing girl, and I'm not just saying that because I made love to you." Matt kissed my forehead. For once, my mother found me a nice guy; I'd have to thank her when I got home.
"Oh, no. What time is it?"
I wrapped the sheet around me and grabbed my phone. It was getting late and Lindsey was already home.
"Is everything okay?" Matt asked, getting up.
"My mother is going to flip." I pulled on my clothes and tried to fix my hair.
"I'll go get Cody and Jessica." Matt pulled on pants and a shirt and left the room.
Putting on my shoes, I heard the door open and looked up to find Jess.
"Oh. My. God." She squealed. "You and Matt did it, didn't you?"
"You're blushing! Ohmygod, you guys are totes going to get married!"
"No, we're not." I mumbled.
"Well, he likes you. This isn't a one-night-stand thing." She said crossing her arms.
"Did you and Cody?"
She laughed. "No way, I don't like guys."
"Wait, what?" I asked confused.
"I'm lesbian, Rose." She sounded like I should've known the whole time. I looked away, feeling awkward for not knowing. "Wait, did you not know?"
I shook my head, trying to fix my hair.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I should've told you." Jess sat down on the bed next to me. "I can move into a different room if you want me too."
"No," I said confused. "Why would you do that? It doesn't bother me." I paused. "Just don't tell my parents. They'll freak out."
She nodded, understanding. I still felt tipsy, and I wondered what it'd be like to kiss her. She looked into my eyes, probably thinking the same thing. She leaned in to me, shutting her eyes; as did I.
Matt and Cody burst into the room. "We got to go." Matt pulled me to my feet.
Downstairs, everyone was running around, yelling and screaming. The place was a mess.
"What's going on?" I asked, scared.
Matt kept me close to him as we went back upstairs, into the bedroom. Cody and Jess followed close behind us.
"Matt, the window." Cody rushed over to it, opening it.
"Cops showed up." Matt told me, looking me in the eye. "Go out on the roof, Cody and I will be right behind you and Jess. Just go to the car."
"Rose, come on!" Jess was holding her hand out to me. I took it and got on the roof, just like the guys said.
"Matt!" I called, reaching for him. Him and Cody got on the roof as well. "How do we get down?"
Matt pointed towards Jess. "There's a ladder over there. Go that way."
The four of us slowly went over where Matt had pointed; but there was no ladder.
"We're gonna have to jump." Jess said quietly.
Matt slid down, so he could drop off the roof on the deck. He held himself up on the gutter and looked at me. "I'll caught you, okay?" I nodded, tears in my eyes. I didn't want to go to jail, I didn't want my parents to find out I was here.
