The Beast

A.N. I wrote this when I was full of emotions and so I wrote what I felt in a way that is hopefully easy to understand.

A drop pierces the cold flakes

Shiver as the beast awakes

Rises from a crystal lake

A rumble as the ground quakes.

Icy fingers make tall spires

Falling and jumping like fires

The beasts head slowly rises

Eyes lost in older empires

Gaping maw holds yellow teeth

Shards of ice-fire lie beneath

Curled lips reveal the boney wreath

Challenging the snowy heath

Jagged spears protrude the spine

Each scar, a battle defined

Another mark from sets of canines

The cold eyes lose their shine.
