Instead of Christina coming over to my apartment today, I went to hers.
I'm not sure it was a good idea.
When I came over she was crying. I had never seen her cry before. It hurt me too see her in so much pain. She was the strongest out of us. Us two, that is.
She tried to stop when she saw me, but I told her it was okay. Even the strongest people have to break.
I put her head on my heart and held her until she stopped.
It was awhile, but that's okay. It was the least I could do when she has been with me for the past few weeks... or was it months?
It was strange to be the strongest person in the room. It kind of gave me hope...that maybe I could stay strong for more than a day.
After she stopped, I wiped her tears on my shirtsleeve and made hot chocolate.
I can only hope I have been as good of a friend as she has been to me.
