Percy and I had been cuddling on the couch watching Hunger Games, when I got up to go to the kitchen to take his blue cookies out of the oven, a bad mistake. When I got back with a plate of cookies I found Percy with his arms around something else and he was talking to it. "Will you marry me?" He said it to the stuffed fish he had won for me at the carnival a few weeks ago. (I kept 'accidentally' leaving it here) After repeating it a few times he sighs dejectedly and says "If only saying that to Wise Girl was so easy Wise Fish." His name for the toy was, I must admit, amusing. "I would have asked her five weeks ago when I got the ring with my Dad." I silently tiptoe back into the kitchen and move the cookies to form the letters Y-E-S. Going back into the room I say "There is your answer." Setting the plate on the coffee table in front of him. He was clearly confused at first but when he realized what I meant he got on one knee, ring in hand and said "We have been best friends since we were twelve wise girl, and I have loved you ever since. We defeated the titians and we defeated Gaea. I wouldn't be the man I am today without you. Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" About half way through that I started crying but I still managed to get out "Y-yes." Before he captured my lips in the most passionate kiss we have ever had.
I would never be able to forget that moment; even without the fact that Aphrodite had forced Hephaestus to film it and she played it every chance she got.
