I hauled my suitcase through the busy airport and looked around for the correct way for me to go.
"You lost?" A familiar voice whispered, his breath tickling my kneck.
I spun around on my heels in panic and dropped my stuff, I dropped to the ground quickly and gathered it together. "What are you doing here?" I questioned.
"I'm picking my Mum up." Ashton smiled brightly, "What about you?"
"I'm picking my sister up, she stays in New Zealand." I confidently lied.
"You have a suitcase?"
"I've already picked her up, she's at the toilet."
"Eva if you're trying to run away-"
"It's not running away Ash, Calum knows where I'm going, the girls know where I'm going, what happens after that is a matter of fate." I shrugged as my flight was called, I held my arms out and he hugged me tightly.
Apart from Calum and I, Ashton and I were extremely close, over the past few years he's became like a brother to be let alone a best friend.
"I love you boys so much, each and every one if you have helped me in ways I can never repay...I'm sure we'll meet again."
I kissed his cheek before letting go of him and taking my stuff as the final tannoy for my flight was called, "Goodbye Ash." I slowly walked towards the gate
"Come on Eva don't go!" Ashton called out, "You can work this out. I know you can." But I never looked back.
I handed the steward my boarding pass, he opened the door for me and I walked in.
This was it.
The door locked behind me.
This was it.
