After the offer by Oscar, you Ruby and he all went outside of the house and got ready for your little training fight. The first round was going to be a simple you vs Oscar fight with a sword and a cane while Ruby was going yo ref and keep score. You drew your blade and aimed its tip directly at Oscar. Oscar entered a similar pose only this time he used his cane in place of the sword. Ruby stepped up onto an old orange crate that she used as a stage and to get a high rise on the fight. Ruby pointed to both you and Oscar.

Ruby: Fighters! Are you ready?

You nodded in response as did Oscar.

Ruby: Ready...set...fight!

Oscar rushed towards you while you reeled back, using two hands to control your sword. Oscar lunged forward towards you. You spun around and swung your sword and counters Oscar's strike. You completely pushed him back, having Oscar land and slide back along the ground.

(Y/N): You don't want to rush things all the time. Think. Be cautious.

Oscar: Be cautious. Got it.

You and Oscar danced around for a bit before he lunged forward again. When he was about to land, he spun in mid air and was able to hit your side. You spun around and raised your blade as Oscar struck the center of your sword. He quickly removed the cane and attempted to stab you. You grabbed the cane itself since it didn't have a sharp edge to it. Oscar gave you a scared look as you side kicked his chest which shot him back some.

You then backflipped kicked his chin, and launched Oscar into the air. You grabbed Oscar's ankle and pulled him closer to you. Oscar and you locked eyes for a split second. You gave Oscar a wink and watched as he was sent to the ground and tumbled along it. He looked up at you and saw you coming in for a lunge. Oscar rolled out of the way to evade your blade and attempted to kick you.

You rolled forward and evaded the strike. Oscar also rolled forward and attempted to elbow you. You caught the elbow and moved Oscar into a tight hold.

(Y/N): Calm down. The roll was good but you shouldn't let your anger control this fight.

Oscar: It's...NOT!

Oscar stomped on your foot and released the hold. He rolled forward and spun back around to attack you. You blocked the attack with your sword and kicked Oscar again in the stomach.

(Y/N): Don't leave yourself open like that to an attack.

Ruby: Hey, (Y/N). Think maybe you could lower it down a bit?

(Y/N): Why? He's got Ozpin with him. If anyone should be prepared its him.

Oscar: Why? Why does everyone think that?

(Y/N): Huh?

Oscar: I'm more than just Ozpin. I exist too you know.

(Y/N): I know that...but...yeah, I'm a jerk.

You walked over to Oscar and offered him a hand up. He takes and you both stand up and look at one another. You offer him a bit of a smile and he slowly begins to return it. You wrapped an arm around Oscar's shoulders and walk back over to Ruby.

(Y/N): You want to try another round?

Oscar: Sure.

Ruby: Nah uh! It's our fight now! You judge us!

(Y/N): Alright, alright. It's all yours.

You assumed Ruby's old position and the two entered a stand off. Ruby places her scythe on her back and raises her fists to enter a fist fight. Oscar lowers and places his cane away as well and raised his fist. You issued the go ahead and the two ran towards one another to fight them off. The two exchanged punches and a few kicks. Ruby blocks a few of Oscar's punches but is eventually backed into a corner.

Ruby then uses her speed and is able to escape Oscar and land a jump kick onto his head. Ruby smirks as Oscar gets up and runs towards her. Oscar throws a few punches against Ruby who attempts to block several of them. As Ruby goes for a swing, Oscar is able to evade until her second punch hits him directly in the nose. Oscar is knocked to the ground but is able to do a swing kick and get Ruby off balance.

Oscar rolls forward and grabs his cane as Ruby does the same with her scythe and swings it at him. Oscar raises his cane in defense. The two clash against one another. Ruby then uses her semblance to dash around Oscar and strike him from different angles. Finally, after one last attack, Ruby throws Oscar across the backyard and almost hits the house.

Oscar held his head and shake it a little. You and Ruby walk over to him. Ruby kneels down beside him and places a hand on his shoulder.

Ruby: You ok?

Oscar: Yeah. That one kinda hurt.

You offered him a hand up and he took it.

Oscar: Hey, (Y/N). I think I'm ready for one last round.

(Y/N): Alright.

The two of you entered another stand off with one another. The two of you entered your positions and Ruby began the fight. The two of you began to slowly dance around one another. After a few more minutes of dancing around with one another, you attacked first, unleashing a series of sword swings against Oscar. After several swings of your blade and Oscar blocking them, you used your own semblance and hit Oscar in the head. You reeled back to punch Oscar but as you did, Oscar evaded and moved behind you and got you into a head lock.

You knocked back with your head however, that didn't stop you from getting hit in the head with Oscar's cane. You fell to the ground but quickly got back up and saw Oscar coming in for another attack. Oscar lunged towards you and you grabbed the cane and threw him to the ground. You pinned Oscar to the ground.

(Y/N): Gotcha.

Oscar: Dang it!

(Y/N): Don't worry. You'll get it...eventually...

You saw Salem standing before you. She snaps her fingers and the sky turns dark. Ruby, Oscar and you all ready your weapons and get ready to attack Salem.

Salem: Fall.

Salem unleashes her magic on Oscar, killing him instantly. You charge forward with Ruby and you both swing towards Salem. The witch teleports and appears in the sky. Nevermore, Dragons and other Grimm begin to tear down the city of Mistral. Meteors begin to fall from the sky. Salem summons more magic and lights the city on fire and directs some lighting towards yourself.

You summon up a shield and block the incoming strike. Ruby gets behind you for cover and she too opens fire against Salem. Salem snaps her fingers and that's when the feeling kicks in. You have a sick feeling in your stomach as does Ruby once she takes a step back and she clenches her stomach.

Salem: Die.

(Y/N): Ruby?

Ruby: (Y/N)? I-I don't want to-

Suddenly, Ruby turns to dust and flies into the air. You look around and everyone else turns to dust. You look back at Salem and she smirks. Tears run from your eyes as you too, disappear.

Your eyes shoot open and you shoot up, accidentally punching Oscar in the nose in the process.

Ruby: (Y/N)? Are you ok?

(Y/N): It was all...it was all-

You cuddle up to yourself and begin repeating the same thing. Ruby cuddles up next to you and strokes your hair.

Oscar: What do we do?

Ruby: Get my uncle and hurry! (Oscar runs off and Ruby looks to you) Sh. It's ok (Y/N). I'm here. I'm real. She's wont hurt you. I promise.
