Lullaby

Chapter 1 : The Unfortunate Awakening

   Afternoon that day Ferycul was excited to meet her girlfriend he smiles as he prepare himself for the their date, Ferycul was outside the country for a long time for he need to work for his family in Philippines, he sacrificed his own feelings to not leave his girlfriend for long distance relationship is really a challenge this days.
   For five years he endured the pain and loneliness for the one he loves and for the ones that need him. For others five years fly so easily that we didn't notice that it has been that long but for Ferycul those five years are the slowest and hardest time in his life.
   When the contract was finished and he knew that he can come home again to the ones he love the smile never leaves his face, the excite and adrenaline he is feeling longing for the people he miss the most.

     "Nay ano po gusto nyo uwi ko saka patanong na din sila ate at pamangking kung ano gusto nila", Ferycul gleefully asked.

    "Nak ano ka ba napakarami na ng mga pinadala at pinundar mo dito itabi mo na lamang yan at ng mailabas mo naman si Prim matagal tagal din kayo hindi nagkasama lubos nga ako nagpapasalamat kay Prim dahil kahit wala ka ay dumadalaw siya para kamustahan kami ng tatay mo", Ferycul mother insisted.

    "Sige ho! nay diyaan na lamang tayo lumabas para kumpleto tayo", Ferycul answered.

   As he packed his belongings he stares the ring that he bought for Prim, he plans to propose to Prim when he arrived at Philippines. The happiness and excite he felt that moment leaves a big smile on his face. After packing all his things he thanked all the people that help him when he was staying there.

    "Hello be! Ou pasakay na ako ng taxi, intayin mo na lang ako sa amin para hindi ka na mahirapan sa trapik lalo na at mahina lang katawan mo masama sa iyo masyado mapagod.
Opo mag-iingat ako susunduin naman ako pinsan eh... Sige ingat ka!!! I Love You !!!", Ferycul hangs the phone.

     After many hours of travel Ferycul finally arrived at the airport. There waiting for him was his cousin and her boyfriend, they helped him load all of his baggage into the car. After two hours of travel they finally arrived home where there is a welcoming party waiting for him. He hugged all of them as tears of joy flow in his eyes for he can't comprehend the feelings built and bottled inside him. At a corner a girl in a red dress was starring at him and also in tears.

  The family give way at they hug each other with both tears in their eyes. That night was so memorable for all of them as Ferycul kneel in front of Prim.

    "For this past five years our trust and faith was challenged by the distance that separated us. We both longed for each other. The loneliness we both felt and sadness that came. How I wish I was beside you that time when you need me by your side, the time when you go to hospital for your check ups and even though your body was not that strong you visited my parents to ensure that they were fine. Even you are not related by blood you made them feel that you are they're legitimate child. I don't know how I can repay all of this to you and I don't know if I you will allow me. Primrose Espino will you allow me to take care of you just like how you take care of me and my parents. Will you marry me?", Ferycul shakingly said.

    "I don't know if I can be a good wife for you I don't know if I can give you the things that you want but all I can promise to you is that I will do my very best for you. Yes please make me your wife", Prim answered.

Everyone was crying and cheering for the both of them.
After 2 months of preparations they have one month for the wedding and they went to fit some wedding dress.

    As Ferycule drive towards the shop he noticed that Prim doesn't look well so he parked beside the road to check Prim's condition.
    
     "Just got dizzy from the heat", Prim smiled
     "Sigurado ka? pwede naman ibang araw na lang", Ferycule worryingly ask
     "Yup I'm fine ", Prim insisted

   Ferycule continue to drive after Prim insisted but this time he drive a little slower so Prim wont get more dizzy. After an hour they finally arrived at the store and Prim is feeling fine now.

    "We would like to fit this dress we ordered", Prim asked the counter as she handed the receipt of the dress.
    "Okay mam just follow me", the lady said as she lead the way.
    "Be! jan ka lang bawal mo ako makita ng nakadress", Prim teases Ferycule
    "Opo! Opo! Alam ko ", Ferycule answered

  After some minutes Prim came back with the box of the dress and smilling. Ferycule stands up for they are about to leave because the dress fits perfectly. They were both excited and laughing talking in the car when suddenly a large explosion shocked them. The tire exploded from a wood with a nail. Ferycule was puzzled for they are driving at the center of the road and it look's like someone planned for it.

    Then he heard a loud scream coming from the car he immediately runs towards the car when he heard another loud sound. A gunshot from his behind when he tries to look behind him another gunshot was fired and fell on his knees, on the distance he saw a group of men stripping Prim.

    "Is this a dream a nightmare? This is just a dream right? please!! someone!! wake me up!! this had to be a dream", he struggles to stand up when another shot was fired straight to his head.
   "What happen am I dead? I can't feel anything... Why can't I feel anything? I have to save her I promise I wont leave her again. Why??? Why can't I do anything?? please anyone... please save her I don't care what happens to me please just save her.

   A certain voice echo's Ferycule's head.
   "Can you hear me? Call me!!"
   "Who are you?"

This time a song was playing on his mind
   
"What is this?? A song??

  "wie ich mich niederlege und meinen Körper ausruhe"
  "Ich singe das Lied des Todes"
  "Veröffentlichung"
  "Wiegenlied"

  A certain song played at everyone's ear. As Ferycule's supposed to be dead body stand the criminals panic and shot all of their bullet at Ferycule's but it doesn't affect him. Prim naked stare at Ferycule walking towards them.
    Prim was shocked as the criminals fall one by one as Ferycule walk right pass them.
    All of them turn old and dry as they fall and die. The same goes for every grass and plants around him.

    "Run!!leave!! before I totally lost myself. Please Prim iwanan mo ako at wag ka lalapit hindi ko alam kung anung nangyayari sa katawan ko",Ferycules begs.

   Prim scared cover her self with an extra pair of clothes in the car then start driving away. Ferycule on the other hand feels some sensation in his whole body, every wounds in his body heals like nothing happens, his black hair turn into ash and his black eyes turn into a bright silver. After the burning sensation that he felt he stand on his knees and quickly walk towards the plains to drink some water.

   When he sees the flowing water at the plain he immedietly drinks it but he saw somthing that really shocked him aside from the color changed his body turn back to a body of a child. Shocked of what he saw he shouted and fell at plains.

  "Is this really me? Bakit nagmukha ako bata?", Ferycule tremble.
