Sadie had never developed feelings that strong that fast. She was willing to have a long distance relationship after leaving California, but only with him. From 2000 miles away, she felt the same. She had a reputation back in her hometown; one that was unkind to her, and it gave her more enemies than she'd like to admit. She'd made mistakes and choices that were undeniably poor ones. They called her crazy and made her out to be a terrible person; she was brought into conversations she wasn't even a part of, but she kept the hatches thrown her way.

Roman had his own reputation, the bad boy kind, but it didn't matter to her. He'd heard about her for years, just as she had heard about him. Yet they still felt this way towards each other. However, they knew if they were together, it would be quite the conversation among all those who knew them.

So they left their love between the distance. His handprint was left on her soul, and she couldn't let him or that feeling go. And when they would talk, her feelings only got stronger despite the 2000 miles. Roman made her love herself, made her confident in herself. Each time she tried her usual tricks of downing on herself and trying to push him away (hopefully out of her mind), he called her bluff and reassured her. The truth though was on her red, glittery lips from that Friday night.
