Crisis averted.

Theodore's little problem had solved itself and he thanked the Fates for not having been so cruel. However, Gabriel was still wet, shirtless and beautiful, so he wasn't in the clear yet.

He sighed and averted his eyes, but they were drawn to Gabriel like magnets. Theodore looked away again and started picking the dirt from beneath his fingernails to keep his eyes from drifting. He hoped that ignoring Gabriel altogether would make it easier to also ignore the unwanted feelings blossoming in his chest.

It helped that Gabriel seemed to be doing the same. Ever since their  conversation in the bathroom, he had kept their interactions to a bare minimum. He was still polite enough, but it was clear he didn't want to delve into Theodore's mess anymore after only having scratched the tip of the iceberg.

Good for him.

Theodore's eyes were as traitorous as his heart and kept on searching for Gabriel, and found him as he got out of the water, most likely to walk up the cliff so he could jump off, because apparently that was fun instead of terrifying.

“So this is how you've been spending your summer so far, huh, ogling cute boys without me?”

Theodore jumped, and then relaxed when he looked up and saw who'd spoken. He shrugged, “I was sorta forced to come here, decided to make the most of it.” he replied jokingly.

Finn Morris was the only one who knew about Theodore's sexuality, because coming out to him had been easy, knowing Finn himself was particularly out and proud.

It had brought them closer together. The complete opposite would happen if he were to tell his family.

Theodore knew they'd accept him, just like they'd accepted Gabriel when he had come out as bi, however, for him it would mostly just add to the list of things that made him different.

Finn sat down beside Theodore and wiggled his eyebrows, “Forced by what? Your raging hormones?” he asked just as a shirtless guy walked past, he looked at Theodore knowingly.

Theodore snorted. They'd certainly been raging not too long ago, but he decided not to bring that up.

Would love to hear your thoughts! The moment I'm about to post I suddenly doubt every word I've written down, aha. I hope to next chapter won't take me forever to write, I'll try my best at least :)

I know I desperately need to show some magic, just gotta figure out how/in which situation:p all I can say is that it will happen eventually, :p

This chapter is subject to change, as I might want to change/ add somethings, since it's so short again.

Anyway, as always, thank you so much for reading!
