-----Annie POV-----

We ended up going to the only restaurant in town, its called trails. Weird name for a burger place but the food was good.

I ordered a cheeseburger, seasoned fries, and a cherry sprite. when I tried to pay Nathan quickly stepped in front of me ordered and paid for our food. I rolled my eyes and sat down with my family.

Nathan joined us and Tommy started the conversation, "How long you back for?"

"Two weeks," Nathan said sadly.

"How long do you go back for?" I asked.

"Four months.." he whispered.

My heart sunk. Four months, how can I live without him for four months!

"Cuzzy, why you cry?" Katie asked.

I wiped my face not realizing I was crying, "I'm sad Nathan has to go away."

"Is he your husband?" She asked as I took a drink of my sprite.

I choked on my sprite and stumbled to answer her,"Uhm, uh..-"

"Not yet," Nathan said laughing at me.

"Can I be in your wedding?!" She asked excitedly.

" Of course!" he smiled at her

I looked over at Tommy and Natalie and they were laughing.

"Who said I wanted to marry you?" I asked Nathan.

He smirked,"You didn't say you didn't want to."

"Maybe you should ask properly," I grumbled under my breath.

"One day I will," he said kissing my cheek.

Our food arrived and we ate with little conversation. Katie talked about kindergarten and her friends and toys mostly to Nathan. When we went back to my mom's house Nathan kissed me and went home.
