Hello, hello! I know, I know — I've been gone a long time, but I'm back, and that's all that matters! I've been hard at work, editing these stories for you all, and at last, Delinquents can join the rest that have passed the finish line. I know this must've been a tough wait, but before you move on, I have a few things to say.

First of all, thank you so much for being so patient with me and sticking around. I say all the work was definitely worth it, so if you'd like to have a look back to refresh your memory, be my guest! I hope you'll appreciate the new changes. We're jumping right into the action with this chapter, so maybe at least start back from the last one to get you fully immersed.

Secondly, have a look at the song I added to the chapter, it was my biggest inspiration for this story. A close second would probably be Heathers, both the musical and the movie.

Third, editing is still going on for a few books, so updates for this and every other book is still going to be a bit slow, so please, continue to be patient, okay? Please and thank you.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

That morning went along like any other, peaceful without those two delinquents around. Y/N remained uncomfortable with their absence even though she didn't particularly want them there with her either. It was just a little too strange, but none of the teachers seemed to care; in fact, they appeared happy not to have such troublesome students acting out in class. She wondered if she was overreacting.

If none of the adults were worried, then why should she? All it would do is muddle up her work ethic. It has been a productive few weeks without any distractions, and she was back into her usual groove. The boys were at the back of her mind. Suddenly, there was a noise that came from over the PA system, loud and piercing, like a white noise bleep, before a crackling voice came through.

"Attention all students and teachers, there is an intruder in the building. Proceed with lockdown procedures immediately. This is not a drill. I repeat: intruder has entered the building. Proceed with lockdown procedures immediately. This is not a—" Everyone jumped at once when a loud bang was heard followed by screams topped with interference before the device shut off. With panicked, wide-set eyes, the Physics teacher, Mr. Cletch stared up at the PA, the red marker in his hand falling to the floor, ruining the equation on the board.
