"What am I supposed to do?"  Harry panicked.

"I don't know!  You can't go down stairs since Jake's down there and you can't just go out the window!"  I exclaimed, looking around.

"Why not?"  Harry questioned.

My eyes widened.  "You wanna break your bones?"

Harry froze for a second.  "Okay, bad idea."

"Ooh!  How about I go downstairs and distract Jake while you sneak out the front door!"  I suggested.

"Are you crazy?  That's the best plan you got?"

"Caroline, you home?"  Jake called.

"Yeah, I'm coming!"  I called back before looking back at Harry.  "You got a better plan?"

Harry sighed, shaking his head.  "No, guess not."

"Okay, let's go!  You stay at the foot of the stairs and go when you can."  I explained, Harry nodding in response.

We both made our way downstairs, Harry waiting as told.  I smiled when I saw Jake, hugging him.  "How's work?"  I asked.

"What do you think?  It's work.  We had trouble getting the lights to work so that wasn't too fun."  Jake answered, going to the fridge.

"Hey, can you get me the...apple juice."  I tried stalling for Harry.

"Apple juice?"  Jake questioned.

I nodded.  "Yeah, I'm pretty sure we have some."

HARRY'S POV

"Caroline, we don't have apple juice."  I overheard Jake.

"Yes we do!  Just look behind everything!"

Okay, this was my chance.  I could feel myself sweating, I've never been so nervous and scared at the same time.   What if Jake caught me?  What would happen?  I took a deep breath before quietly running to the door.  I slipped on my shoes and slowly opened the door.

"Caroline, there isn't any in here!"  Jake yelled in frustration.

I looked back and met eyes with Caroline, giving her the thumbs up and a smile before leaving.

CAROLINE'S POV

"Oh, I guess there isn't any."  I said once I saw Harry left.

"I know there isn't any, I never bought any!"

"Well, can you?"  I asked, actually wanting some juice.

"Sure."  Jake breathed, closing the fridge.

I nodded.  "Okay, well I'll be upstairs."  I told him, making my way to the stairs.

"Wait."  Jake stopped me.  I froze, my heart pounding.  Did he know?

"What?"  I asked, trying to sound calm.

"Who's car was in the front?"

I gulped, turning around.  "What are you talking about?  What car?"  I played dumb.

"You didn't know there was a car in our driveway?"  He questioned.

I shook my head.  "There wasn't a car last time I checked."  I lied.

"Oh really?"  Jake said, leading me over to the front window.  "What's that?"

"Your car."  I answered simply.

"What?"  Jake asked, surprised.  We both looked out the window and only  Jake's car was there.  "Bu-but there was..."

"I think you're tired from working so much today."  I told him.

He sighed.  "Maybe you're right.  I'm going to my room."  He said, going upstairs.

I smiled.  It worked!  I knew we could do this!  I pulled out my phone from my pocket, going into the living room and calling Harry, checking that Jake wasn't watching.

"Hello?"  Harry answered after a few rings.

"It worked!  He doesn't know you were here!"  I exclaimed quietly.

"What about my car?"

"He thinks he was just seeing things."

"That's great Caroline, but..."  Harry trailed off, sounding a bit sad.

"What?"

"I don't think we should be doing this.  At least at your house."

I sighed.  "Yeah, how about we go out tomorrow?"  I suggested.

"Yeah, just somewhere where a lot of people don't go."

"The park?"

"Yeah.  I'll pick you up tomorrow, I'm not sure what time though."  He replied.

"Okay, and try to park somewhere else, we don't need Jake seeing your car again."  I warned.

"Yeah, see you then."

"Bye."  I hung up and leaned back onto the couch.  We pulled it off, we could do this.  But how long?
