Dear Via

Dear Via,
I'm sorry for what I've done
For changing who you were,
For who you have become.

I'm sorry for the breakups,
I'm sorry for the lies
I'm sorry for the fights,
And all the built up fears.

I'm sorry for washing out,
The colour in your eyes
To the girl you were before,
I bid a morose goodbye.

I'm sorry for the scars,
Engraved in your skin
I'm sorry for the world,
You're forced to live in.

I'm sorry for the nights,
You've spent with spilled ink
And all the words in those pages,
That you write before you think.

I'm sorry for breaking my promise,
I said I'd keep your heart
Safe in my arms,
And preserve it like it's art.

I'm sorry for hurting you,
For darkening your bright mind
For breaking apart a girl,
So incredibly hard to find.

Dear Via,
I'm sorry for what I've done
For changing who you were,
For who you have become.

A/N I got the idea to write an open letter to myself after reading a heartbreaking poem by @magicme01 (that I hope she'll put up one day, so that the rest of you can bask in her greatness). Thanks for the inspiration, Magi, I'm totally gonna steal some more legendary ideas from you soon.

Also, I finally decided that I'm going to end Paroxysm with 100 poems, because that's my style and also because starting new books never fails to excite me.
