Chapter-29

"It's nathan. I got call from scarlett's secretary. She agreed to come here and will be here in two days." His words instantly made me smirk.

"That's good. Inform her to visit you as soon as she can." I ordered.

"Alright. I will inform her when she lands. Gotta work. See you."

We hung up. I was so damn happy.

You are right my love that i am a devil. But you still have to see real devil in me. How could i let you get away after giving me that wonderful kiss which still haunts me.

Thinking about our kiss gives me instant hard on.

Fuck! Control yourself you freak.

With her lingering thoughts i carry on with rest of my work.

Scarlett's POV

"I am gonna have foodgasm." I moaned while eating chocolate pancakes. Aunt stella giggled.

We talked a little while having breakfast. After a while she left to buy groceries and i went to my room to call nathan.

"Miss scarlett good morning. Good to hear from you. I hope your journey back home was fine." He said in business tone.

"Good morning. Yes it was. I came home yesterday. So when do we meet?"

"Today if you are free. I need to get this finalised as soon as possible."

"Sure. I will stop by your office at say 2 pm?" I asked looking at clock in my bedroom.

"That'd be great. Looking forward to it. See you then."

"Me too. See you."

I have nearly 4 hours before meeting. I decided to unpack my bags and sort it out.

After having delicious see food platter made by my dear aunt i started to get ready for meeting.

I wore black formal knee length dress. It hugged my figure like second skin. I didn't want myself flashy so i tied my hair in ponytail and applied some eyeliner, mascara and nude lipstick. I wore my black pumps and took my purse. I was ready to go.

I took aunt stella's car. As soon as i entered his office building an unsettling feeling came in my stomach in waves. My palms got clammy and anxiety kicked in.

I drank water to calm my nerves down. I locked my car and made my way to his office which was on 16th floor.

A woman was sitting on a desk outside scribbling away on papers in front of her. She reminded me of anna. I made mental note of calling everyone once i get done with business.

The sound of my heels made her head jerk up. She smiled brightly. I smiled back.

"You must be miss scarlett. Mr. Jordan is expecting you, you can go in." She said still smiling.

"Yes. Thank you." I smiled once again and pushed the big double doors.

He gave a faint nod and motioned me to sit once he saw me enter. Once i sat down he spoke.

"Thank you for coming miss scarlett. I am sorry for causing you trouble of coming in hurry. But due to some reasons i need plan to be finalised fast. Sooner the better."

"Okay. No problem. I will complete it in maximum four days. It's almost ready."

"That would be great."

The same woman i saw earlier brought coffee for both of us.

"I will deliver the final as soon as i finish it. Inspect it and tell me if you require any changes or amendments. I will work accordingly." I said in business tone.
