How the hell he knows about Nicky?

"Who's Nicky?" Nick asks.

"Her fiance" Rachel answers

"Shoot." Nick says while looking down

"You think it's okay to your fiance seeing you with me?" he added

"I don't even know him. I'm sure he won't recognize me immediately."

I sigh. I completely forgot about the wedding.

During all my classes, I haven't been paying attention. I kept thinking about Nicky. Maybe I'll just accept the fact that I'll be his fiance. It's not like I have a boyfriend waiting for me as soon as I back out of the wedding.

Nick and I are very good friends. While Cole, is ignoring me. So, why not marry Nicky? Like I said before, if the marriage won't work, there's always a divorce, right?

So I decide to call Grandpa...

Amber: Hi Grandpa.

Grandpa: Hello dear! Is there a problem?

Amber: Not really.

Grandpa: Oh.

There was this awkward silence.

Amber: I already made my decision.

Grandpa: About what dear?

Amber: I'm gonna go with the wedding.

Grandpa: Really? But I thought you won't go with it after he left...

Amber: After who left?

Grandpa: Never mind. I'm so happy with your decision, Amber..

Amber: Ok Grandpa. I got to go. See you at that charity event.

Grandpa: You're going too? Will Ni -- I mean Cole, will be your date?

Amber: No. I'm going with a friend, his name is Nick.

Grandpa: Oh

Amber: Anyway, see you soon.

Grandpa: See you soon dear.

There's something different. I thought Grandpa is going to be happy or excited when I tell him that I'll go through with the wedding. But with the way he sounds though the call, sounds like he's disappointed. Maybe that's just me. I don't know.

2 days before the charity event, Rachel and I decide to buy something to wear.

"So, how's it going with you and Aiden?" I ask her while looking through some clothes.

"Well, we've been communicating." she blushes

"Good thing he admitted that nothing really happened during camping." she smiles

"Really?" I look at her with a shocked reaction

"You seem surprised."

"Well, I've known Aiden since freshman year and I thought he's a player, like Cole." I say

"Cole doesn't look like a player to me." Rachel defends"

To me, he is. You should've heard the way girls talk about him..."
