I paced on the side of the stage, ready to get my cue to go out. I didn't want to go out. I just wanted to go home. Home as in London.

"Ms. Keddington, are you ready?" a stage worker asked me.

I nodded, "Yeah, I think so."

He smiled back at me before listening to his headset again, waiting for the cue from the workers up in the light sections.

"Ellie!" I heard a voice from behind me.

I turned and saw it was Niall and he was grinning at me. Half naked.

"You need a shirt."

He looked down and laughed, "I know, I just wanted to wish you good luck out there. As soon as Lou Teasedale is done with me, I'll be watching. And woah. Your dress."

I looked down and blushed. It was the navy blue dress that he's gotten me. The one from the dressing room. The one from the photoshoot.

"Wow, you look amazing."

I smiled, "Thanks."

"Ms. Keddington, you're turn to go on."

I took a deep breath and Niall came closer, pressing a kiss to my lips, "You're gonna do great. I know it."

I kissed him back and nervously smiled, "Thanks." I looked out at the stage again and started to confidently walk out, thankful for the ear pieces I had in, so I wouldn't hear any comments.

I reached the microphone and popped my ear piece out a bit to hear only a few people cheering. I popped it back in.

"Hey guys, I'm Ellie, as you probably know," I smiled into the darkness, the lights slightly blinding me. "Um, I have a few original songs I want to sing for you, and I hope you like them. The first one is 'Fix A Heart'."

I turned around and nodded at Josh, the drummer and he smiled, and he started a beat, and the violinist and pianist started playing.

It's probably what's best for you

I only want the best for you

And if I'm not the best, then you're stuck

With shaking hands I took the microphone off the stand and started to sing the next couple verses.

I try to sever ties and I,

Ended up with wounds to bind

Like you're pouring salt in my cuts

My voice immediately started to freeze and I could sing the next part. I stopped and the music kept playing. I tried mumbling along but I couldn't do it.

I ran off the stage and the music stopped.

Tears started to run down my face and as I blindly ran, someone grabbed me. Niall.

"Woah, woah, Ellie, what happened?"

"I can't do it, Niall."

"Did something bad happen?" he asked.

I shook my head, "No-"

Niall grabbed my hand, "Then let's go."

I started to protest, but he grabbed an extra mic from a stage manager and he pulled me back out onstage, screams erupting.

"Hey, everybody," he smiled. We walked to the center of the stage and he turned to me, smiling at me, before turning back to the crowd.

"Now I know stories have been going around, saying that Ellie has been dating Harry, and I'm only her cover story. But it's not true. None of it. It's just a rumor Harry and Louis made up to make Ellie mad. They didn't mean for it to go this far."
