Aubrey's pov

"I still can't believe you're hanging out with that guy?!" Drexel, my best friend said.

I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my hot coffee. I was currently in Drexel's apartment, hanging out as usual, Tyler hasn't texted me today, but I know he'll do that soon enough.

I was supposed to deliver the parcel today, I still can't believe that I agreed to doing it, I just didn't want to hurt Tyler by saying no; this was the first time he's ever asked me to do something like this.

And something inside of me was glad that Tyler trusted me enough to deliver his parcel, I knew how important that parcel was to him... I mean, that was the reason why he killed Simon, my Dad.

"Tyler's a good guy." I said.

Drexel gave me a look that said, 'Really?'

I sighed. "Okay, maybe not really good, he's in between the two... And I like hanging out with him."

"I can't wait for whatever charm that guy gave you, to ware off... I miss my best friend." Drexel said.

"Drex, Tyler didn't charm me okay, and I'm still here." I said, sipping my coffee.

"Oh, no you're not... You've been checking your phone from time to time for any text from Tyler." He laughed.

I dropped my coffee. "Well that's because I'm supposed to help him with something."

"With what?" Drexel asked.

"It's confidential." I simply said.

"That guy will put you in trouble Bree, you're not supposed to hang out with mafias, they kill people and dominate- I don't know- places?" Drexel paused and continued. "If your mom finds out about this, you're dead... She'll take you to church and cast out the demon that is making you do these things with Tyler."

That made me laugh... True though, my mom would do just that... I can't even imagine the scenario when my mom finally finds out... It'd be so embarrassing.

"Just be careful, if that guy does something crazy to you... All hell's gonna break loose." Drexel warned.

"Yeah, yeah... Like you can go up against a Mafia king." I said.

"Oh I can, Don't underestimate my stature," Drexel sighed. "In all, you know I gat your back."

I smiled. Suddenly my phone rang...

It could be my mom.

I looked at the name flashing on my phone screen and my eyes widened.

"What is it?" Drexel asked.

I looked up at him. "It's Tyler." I said.

"Tyler never calls." I simply said

Drexel just shrugged.

I picked it up and put it in my ears.

"Uh... Hello?" I asked, unsure of what to say.

"Why didn't you pick up on the first ring?" His voice sounded even more beautiful on phone.

"Um... I don't know?" I said.

Tyler never calls, I mean, he preferred texting to calling, this was the first time he's ever called?

"What's up with your voice?" He asked
