"How was your date?" Ned asked, dropping his bag to the floor and nearly spilling his coffee in the process.

"It was great." I replied, taking a sip of my tea. "It felt like I was Cinderella. You know if Cinderella was male and gay."

Ned let out a heartless laugh, "Sounds like a good time."
I raised an eyebrow, "Okay, what's up? You alright? Did something happen?" I questioned feeling slightly irritated.

"Nothing, just glad you had a good time on your date. Did anyone special?"
I gave Ned a troubled glance before focusing on my tea, "Um, not really? Why? Looking for any juicy details?" I joked trying to get the feeling of my skin crawling to stop.

"Sure, what positions do you two do? Roleplay maybe? I can see that." Ned replied shrugging with a unfamiliar glint in his eyes.

Okay, calm down Peter he's just joking. "That's for me to know and you to never find out pal." I reported laughing uneasily. The tightness around my throat started to choke me and I suddenly didn't want to be sitting in this cafe with Ned. Something was off.

"We'll see. Anyways, are there any perks of dating a teacher? Or someone older in general? Sugar daddy perhaps?" Ned wiggled his eyebrows.

Ned joking about it didn't make anything feel better either.

"Not really. I was already doing well his class before we started anything. Plus there are only three more months left in the school year and then our relationship won't be frown upon." I answered with a smile.

"That's good, do you know what the punishment is for a student-teacher relationship?" Ned asked his hands fiddling with the sleeves of his shirt.

My mouth went dry as I cleared my throat, "Why do you ask? I thought we were okay with it. Are you changing your mind?"

Ned let out a chuckle, "No, don't be silly. Just making sure that you have all of your sides covered."

I slowly nodded, "Yeah okay, well I have to go get ready for my shift. We'll talk later yeah?"
Ned just nodded his head and watched as I began to pack my things up.

"Be safe Peter." Ned called out as I walked out. Dread filled my body with every step I took. Maybe MJ was onto something.
