Barry woke up early and got out of the bed just to find Caitlin asleep on her desk and Cisco on the floor. He felt awful that they had to spend the night so he flashed them to their houses and went to Joe's without knowing Birdie was there.

"Joe, I'm here!" He shouted coming in.
"I'm in the kitchen." He shouted back.

When he peaked his head in the kitchen he saw Joe with flour in his hand and Birdie full of it.

"Hey Barr." Joe smiled.
"I'm gonna go." Birdie said walking right past Barry.

Barry sighed and Joe frowned.

"I'm guessing that's what you came to do?"
"She won't even look at me in the eyes Joe."
"Sit down." He said pointing to a chair.

They both sat down and Joe sighed. "Barr, what you did was very wrong. I know you don't want to ruin your family with Iris and Nora but Birdie is your kid too. I see you in her every time she looks at me with that sweet smile and that brown hair. I remember when I took you in you were a scared little boy who had just lost his mother and his father. Birdie doesn't have them either. Nora has Iris. That little girl has no one except you. I'm gonna call her and you're not gonna leave until you two talk."

Barry nodded and stood up.

"Birdie!" Joe shouted.

She came down the stairs and stood beside Joe.

"Your dad wants to talk to you. And he isn't gonna leave until he does."

She nodded. "Okay."

Joe left and it was just Barry and Birdie. She looked at him up and down.

"Did you heal already?" She asked.
"Yeah. How'd you know I was hurt?"
"I came by S.T.A.R. Labs last night."
"Oh." He nodded.

You could hear a pin drop in the room.

"Okay you know what. Yell at me." Barry said. "Hit me, call me whatever you want to call me."

Birdie shook her head. "I don't want that."

"What do you want then?" He asked.
"I just want my dad." She said holding back tears.

Barry's face softened and his eyes started to water.

"I thought maybe you would like to have another daughter." She shrugged.
"I'm sorry baby." He said hugging her. "I really don't deserve you Birdie. I'm sorry about everything I said. I'm such an asshole. I'll try to be a good dad from now on. I promise you that." He said kissing her forehead.

She hugged him back tightly and sniffled. "I'm sorry I'm not what you wanted."

"Hey, look at me." He said tilting her chin up. "Don't ever say that again. Okay? You are a wonderful girl with such a forgiving heart because I wouldn't have forgiven someone like that. You don't have to apologize for anything."

She smiled softly and he felt he had seen that smile before but then again, maybe it's because it's his daughter. They have a special connection.

"Can we watch a movie?" She asked.
"Sure." He nodded. "Let's go back to my place."
"Um, I don't want to be with Nora."
"Nora's not gonna be there. I actually have an apartment of my own that I don't use and it has everything so, you and I can hang out there. Plus the good thing is, they don't know about it." He smiled.
"Okay." She nodded.

Joe smiled at Barry from the top of the stairs and nodded.

"Bye grandpa." She said walking out the door.
"How did she?"

Barry shrugged and walked behind his daughter.

"You hungry?"
"Yeah. Very." She nodded.
"Okay on three we say what we want to eat."
"Sure."
"One, two, three." Barry counted.

"Burgers!" They both answered.
"Burgers it is." Barry smiled.

He ordered the food and took it home.

"Woah. This is a very big apartment." She said walking in.
"It is."
"You lived here alone?"
"Yeah." He nodded.
"Cool."

He chuckled and set the food on the table. "Alright go wash your hands."
"Okay."

He washed his hands as well and then sat down with her on the table.

"I haven't done this in a while." She said looking at the food.
"Eat?"

She smiled. "No. Eaten with someone on a table."

"What about Caitlin and Cisco. Or Joe and Cecile?"
"No. Cisco and I ate on the couch, I ate on the floor with Caitlin because we were too lazy to walk to the table and I had already eaten before I went home with Joe and Cecile."

He nodded.

"Last time I had a meal like this, I was with my mom."
"Birdie. Who's your mom?"
"I don't want to talk about her."
"Why not?"
"Cause ,I just don't."
"Okay. When you're ready. Talk to me."

She nodded and took a bite of her food. The rest of the meal was silent until they moved to the couch to watch the movie.

"What movie?"
"Um Camp Rock."
"Oh boy."
"Please." She said giving Barry a puppy dog look.
"Fine. But next time I pick."
"Sure." She nodded.

They watched the movie and she sang and danced along to every song. Barry was laughing his head off with her dancing and joined her.

"Oh. Iris is calling."

He took the phone call and came back with a frown.

"Do you have to leave?"
"I'm sorry Birdie."
"It's okay." She shrugged.
"You can stay here if you-."
"No. I'll just call Cisco. I don't like being alone."

He furrowed his eyebrows and nodded. He called Cisco but he didn't pick up so he called Caitlin.

(Convo)

"Hello?"
"Hey Caitlin. Um can Birdie stay with you tonight? I can't take her home with me."
"Is she with you?"
"Yeah. I can explain later. Can she?"
"Yeah. I don't mind."
"Okay. Thanks."
"Alright. Bye."
"Bye."

(End of convo)

"Well, looks like you're staying with Caitlin."
"Okay." She nodded.

They flashed to her apartment and she opened the door for them.

"Hey. You know where to put your things." Caitlin smiled at Birdie.

Birdie nodded and went inside.

"So. You two talk?"
"Yeah." He nodded.
"How'd it go?"
"Better than I thought it would."
"I'm glad it did." She smiled.

"So can you forgive me?"
"Yes. If you ever hurt her again. I won't." She said pointing at him.
"I won't." He said shaking his head.
"Okay. We can tell Cisco tomorrow."
"Yeah." He nodded. "It's getting late, I should get going."
"Birdie! Your dad's leaving."

She came and hugged Barry.

"Call me if anything happens." He said pointing at both Caitlin and Birdie.
"We will." They nodded.
"Okay. Bye." He said waving and walking away.

Caitlin and Birdie drank some tea and then went to bed while Barry got home to a sleeping Nora and Iris so he took a bath and went to sleep as well.
