When I saw Noah take Aria into his arms, how safe I could tell she felt in him. The way he kissed her... I felt a pang of jealousy.

Not because I had feelings or anything, no. But because...I wanted that. More than anything I wanted someone to hold, or to hold me. Someone I could love unconditionally and have them feel the same way, to return it. I knew I was young, but I felt like that would never happen for me. I was destined for one-sided relationships.

I heard a rock being kicked behind me, I turned around to see Max walking away from the group.

"Where are you going?" I called after him.

He didn't say anything, he just kept walking.

"Hey, wait!"

By the time I caught up to him we were on a dirt trail, surrounded by trees.

"Dude-" I grabbed his shoulder. He spun around quickly, anger filling his eyes.

"What, Keith!?" He practically hissed.

He was taller than me. He shoved his face down in mine as he yelled, I could tell he was trying to intimidate me by getting in my space.

I shoved him away.

"What's your problem!?"

"The fuck do you care anyways?" He questioned angrily.

I narrowed my eyes at him, I should've left him alone.

"I don't."

He scoffed.

"Then why the hell are you here, huh?" He turned around and kept walking. He was such an asshole. He thought he could just be a total dick and I'd take it?

"So what? You're into street racing now? Trying to get jumped or locked up, is that it?"

He stuffed his hands in his pockets, his voice growing more careless.

"It doesn't matter what you think of what I do. Now go back to your girlfriend and leave me the fuck alone."

"Tch." I turned around and made my way back to the group, my vision blurred by anger.

But I swear, he didn't take another step forward after I walked away.

I approached Lacey.

"Hey, can we go now?"

"Uh, yeah sure. Are y-"

"-Thanks, great."

I made my way to the car with steam coming out of my ears and got in the back seat, waiting for the rest of the group to be ready to leave.

"Aria, you coming!?" I called out.

"Yeah!" Aria hollered back, a smile on her face.

I liked it when she smiled. She was an amazing friend and deserved more than she got. I hope Noah's good for her.

No, he better be good for her.

If not, i'll be personally bustin' some balls.

She whispered something to Noah and made her way over to the car.

I saw his face as his eyes remained glued to her until she was out of site and got in the backseat.

I watched Noah as he shook his head with a giddy smile.

Now that's how you look at a girl.

I yawned, tired from the long night.

I turned around, ready to head back to the car. But was greeted with that green haired boy holding the passenger door open for me and gesturing inside.
