"And as your manager it's not my place. Now get back to work and I will get Macy to call you tonight" she snapped
"Fine but I ain't happy about this one fucking bit" I shouted as I stormed away causing a few heads to turn.
Later that night....
I was sitting in my hotel room staring at my phone waiting patiently for my phone to ring.
Ring. Ring
I answered it right away after seeing the one persons name I missed flash on the screen.
"Baby I miss you" I said without even saying hello
"I miss you to" she said
"I'm so sorry what happened baby" I said
"I know you are I spoke to Carter and he told me everything, I'm sorry I overreacted the way I did" she said sniffing. I knew she was crying
"Why you crying baby" I asked. There was silence
"Is it about what Kerrie said you needed to tell me" I asked sympathetically
"Yeah it is. I don't know how to tell you. I'm scared you will get mad" she sobbed
"Are you breaking up with me" I whispered
"No no no I'm not. It's just that em......" she hesitated
"Baby just tell me whatever it is we will work through it ok. Everything will be ok but you need to tell me for me to help you" I said trying to calm her.
"I'm pregnant" she whispered
I was stunned. The words I wanted to say wasn't coming out my mouth
"Luke you still there" she said
"Yeah sorry I just..... I'm just shocked" I said.
"I knew you would be mad. I shouldn't have told you" she cried
"I'm not mad, I thought you where on birth control. I mean I'm happy n all but I'm stunned at the same time. I wanted us for a little longer. I wanted to show you the world" I said.
"Luke listen I can do this alone I don't need you to help me if you don't want to. Listen I need to go ok. Call me when you take that stick out your ass" she said hanging up.
I sat there staring and the silent phone. I handled that fucking horrendously. My daze was broken by a knock on the door. I walked over and answered it only to be met with an almighty slap right across my face
"Kerrie what the actual fuck" I said rubbing my face
"You can be a right asshole sometime can't you. Macy just called she has handed in her notice, saying she can't be around you anymore" she shouted
"She what why" I stuttered
"She tells you she is pregnant and you are a dick about it. Sometimes things happen Luke it takes to people to make a baby." She shouted
"She said she was on birth control. I would have taken more precautions" I said reaching for a bottle of Jack
"Well you won't need to worry about it. She says she will be gone by the time we are back. Thank you very much, she was an excellent assistant and she was way to good for you" she yelled
