Chapter 1 Dorms

This book sucks, if you want to read a better version read "Smile." The characters in this book are very similar. I made this when I was 11 years old, again this book sucks.

Chapter 1

Knock knock

"Coming!" I yelled. I thought my parents were home from the concert. I opened the door to find a man and a woman standing there. They were both wearing suits and the man handed me a letter. I hesitated to take it "who are you?" They didn't answer "if I read this letter can you leave?."

They still didn't answered so I took the letter and read it silently.

Dear, Mia

You have been accepted to Falcon Magic school. We know of your powers and we want to let you know you're not the only one with these abilities. You will have a dorm room, classes and activities with powers, training with creatures ect.

Your parents have informed us about abilities and want to send you here.

We hope you'll like it here.

I didn't think anyone knew about my magic abilities. When my parents found out they didn't like it. Whenever I wanted to use magic they would tell me its not normal. They would usually cover it up when someone see's me.

"Is this real" the man finally said something "yes, we would like you to come with us." I still didn't trust them so I dialed 911 and had my finger ready to call them. They brought me to a limo so I kept the phone in my hoodie pocket. "We're going to a airport."

The car ride was nice and quiet. The driver gave me some candy but I didn't eat it, what if its full of drugs or something poisonous.

We got to the airport and luckily no bullet in my head. We board our plane and I call my parents telling them what's happening "hey mom some shady people came to our house." "Yeah I know they told me they came" I was full of relief knowing they weren't dangerous.

I sat back down and just looked out the window. "Do you think I'm gonna like here?" I looked towards the two people next to me. The lady spoke up "I used to go there, I think you're gonna love it there." I'm so glad they started talking "so what dose this place have?".

The man started talking now "you have classes normally, you ride dragons and learn magic better." "Theirs dragons" I was excited.

I looked out the window and saw a giant island. We landed and I saw a giant castle I could hear the dragons from here. Students were all running around laughing and some looked like the same age as me. I was a freshman in highschool so I guess they were new like me. I turned back to the man and the woman "I never got your guys name" they looked surprised "well mine is Daniel and her name is Emily."

I shook both of their hands. They both walked away and left me there by myself which was the scariest thing in my life. I followed some people I didn't know and found the entrance. I saw a man who I think is the headmaster I walked up to him and greeted him.

"Hi I'm Mia I'm new here" he smiled "yes I've heard you'll find your dorm on the right". I walked down the courtyard and found my dorm. I started getting nervous thinking who my roommate is.

When I reached my dorm room I slowly opened my dorm. When I entered I saw some band posters plus a ashtray and realized my roommate is the bad kid.

It smelled like cigarettes and beer. I ignored the smell and threw my bag on my bed. I couldn't believe I was actually at a school with dragons and magic. I have something called hand magic so I could use magic with my hands.

Kinda like Doctor strange.

I didn't pack anything since they came up to my door. I just played on my phone until my roommate came back I kept looking at her posters some were bands I knew and others I had no clue of. She looked like some sort of punk or rock and roll kind of person.

I heard someone open the door and saw a girl with a gray dyed pixie cut. Her pants were all ripped and she had some black converse. Her tank top had some crazy skull design. She had a red and black checkered shirt tied around her waist. You could mistake her for a boy even.

She looked surprised when she saw me. "Who are you?!?" I stood up and walked over to her "hi I'm your new roommate, nice to meet you." She slapped my hand out the way "I'm gonna kill that principal".

She grabbed her phone and dialled his number. Most of the conversion was her yelling at him telling him I need to be moved. I kinda was offended when she called me ugly and cussed at me. I mean I'm standing right here she got off the phone angry and I could tell the principal said no.

She stayed silent but I could hear her heavy breathing. She picked up the phone and threw it across the room. "Hey I never got your name"I said and she turned towards me.

"Skylar"

"Now stay out of my way"

She left the room and left me there confused. I still didn't know the way around the school and I don't have a guide. I walked out the room hopefully finding someone there but there wasn't. I gave up maybe I could just explore when I walked in the hall everyone was whispering something.

When I exited the dorm I saw a guy sitting on a bench. He looked like my friend I knew he had the same abilities as me. I ran up to the bench and there was no mistaking it he was my friend Jack.

"Hey Jack" he jumped when he saw me "hey Mia." I sat down next to him and he smiled at me, he had messy brown hair, green eyes and a white long sleeve shirt with black pants.

He may have looked good but he was a huge nerd. "To be honest Mia I didn't think I would see you again."

"Wow thanks for having confidence in me"

"Hey who's your roommate" he looked pretty happy I asked that. "Mine is a guy named Noah, he's a nerd like me" I'm kinda jealous his roommate must be nice. "My roommate is a girl named Skylar" "yeah I heard" he looked like he already knew her.

"Do you know her?" he didn't look at me this time. "I accidentally spilled my drink all over her and she's a delinquent" I wanted to hear the story with the drink.

"What happened after you spilled your drink on her" he turned to me this time.

"She destroyed my room and threatened to kill me"

"Wow getting in to trouble already." I looked in the yellowish sky "well I gotta get back to my dorm bye" I got up and waved goodbye. I followed all the other students back to the dorm. I ran in my room and got dressed luckily Skylar wasn't in the room.

I turned off the light and fell asleep. When I woke up I heard the door open and Skylar entering the room covered in blood holding a gun.
