i walked off the bus into the parking lot of hell - sorry - school, and sighed. i didn't exactly like school. i didn't get bullied or anything, i just don't like school. especially my school. it's dirty and there's too many people and all the teachers are rude and it's just horrible.
anyway, i speed-walked to the entrance and went inside, not bothering to hold the door for whoever was behind me.
loud.
that was the first thing i thought when i was in. everyone was acting like it was the last day of school instead of the first. there were papers all over the place, girls with 10 inch heels wearing skirts that showed everything, and boys with their shorts halfway down their legs.
one of the slutty girls walked past me, bumping my shoulder.
"excuse you!" she shouted in my face and stormed off. i just shrugged and started walking down the hallway. i saw the girls bathroom and went in there, hoping no one else was.
sadly there was a girl, probably in my grade, brushing her hair out with her fingers. i gave her a small smile and walked over to the sinks. i opened up my bag and shuffled through it, looking for the paper that had my schedule and shit on it.
"don't tell me i left it at home." i mumbled to myself. thankfully, i found it wedged between two books. i pulled it out and examined it.
"do we have any classed together?" the girl that was brushing her hair with her fingers asked.
"who are you?"
"i'm sarah." she said sticking her hand out.
i slowly shook it.
"well, hello sarah. i'm jaelyn.."
she smiled. "hello jaelyn. now do you wanna answed my question?"
wait, what question.
"huh?" i cocked an eyebrow.
"i asked you if we had any classes together?" she laughed.
"oh, i don't know, here." i handed her my schedule
as she looked it over, i saw her make multiple facial expressions. some looked good and some looked disgusted. i bit my nails as i waited for her to give me my paper back.
"well, it seems we have no classes except free period together." she said as she handed me my schedule back.
"well at least i have someone to hang out with during free period." i sighed.
"are you new here?" she asked as we walked out of the bathroom.
"no, but last year i only had 2 friends and they both moved."
"ah, that sucks."
"yeah.."
"well, at least you have a new badass friend to start off 11th grade with!" sarah shouted and threw her hands in the air.
i laughed and nodded.
"this is my science class, i gotta go. look for me in the lunch room! you can sit with me and my friends!" she offered.
"will do. see you later, sarah!" i waved and she was off.
english was where i was headed. room 210 with mrs. landy. the old bitch.
great.
i started walking towards the stairs to get to the second floor when all of a sudden, i was tackled from behind.
"ow," i mumbled. "i think my elbow is broken."
"oh god, i'm so sorry." a deep voice said. i looked up and saw a tall boy with light brown hair and green eyes and a bandana tired around his head. wow, he was hot.
"yeah, i'm fine, it's whatever." i started to pick up the few books and papers that had fallen out of my bag. i expected the boy to help me but when i looked back, he was gone.
i sighed and continue to stuff papers into random folders. the first dsy of school wasn't going as smooth as i planned it to be..
"sorry about ashton, he can be a dick sometimes." another deep voice said.
i snapped my head over to see a boy on knees, stacking my books into a pile. this boy had bright blue hair and very red lips. i think he's the only person that can actually pull off hair like that. he was really hot too.
"oh, uh, yeah i-i guess.." i stuttered.
he smiled and we both stood up.
"here." he handed me some books.
"thanks," i said and put the books into my bag, "what's your name?"
"i'm michael," he said, bowing slightly. "michael clifford."
little did i know that name would eventually mean so much to me..
