The wind rushes through my hair, as I look out the open window, daydreaming. The sun is slowly setting, and I could see the city lights starting to light up in the distance, like thousands of neon fireflies. Blues and yellows of street signs, making it glow with a vibrant color. That's not where I'm heading though. L.A is behind me right now.

My girlfriend was driving in the seat next to me, the wind blowing her dark curly hair, as well mine. Butterflies started to form in my stomach, we've been dating for 6 months, I should be over all the butterflies by now.

I sighed and looked back out the window, and the sun had now nearly set. Music was blasting throughout the car. "So Long and Goodnight! So Long and Goodnight," I screamed out with Gerard.

Zuri looked over at me, a slight smile lit up her face, "My God Em," I smiled back.

"You know you wanted to do it too,"  She rolled her eyes, but I could tell she was entertained.

"Maybe, I did, you don't know."

I grinned. Then laid my head down on the cars window for a little while, daydreaming into the night. We started crossing a bridge to take us completely out of the city.

"I'm going to lean out of the top car window," I said, "it'll be just like in the movies," Zuri just shook her head.

"I'll never understand you," I laughed, then went and opened the top window and peeked my head out.

"This is perfect," I set my head down on the top of the car. We picked up speed as we got nearer to the bridge. My blue hair was blowing around like crazy. From the car I heard the beginning of Ain't it Fun come on.

As soon as the chorus kicked in I knew what I had to do. "Ain't it fun, living in the real world!" Zuri laughed in her seat. "Come on join me."

This time when the chorus kicked in she joined me. "Ain't it fun! you can't count on no one. Ain't it fun." She went and did her solo with the bridge.

"Don't go crying to your momma," she sang along, then we both screamed out the chorus as it came again.

It was a picture perfect scene, like in the movies. The glowing lights of the city quickly retreating behind us. The electric lights of the cars headlights illuminating us both. My blue hair shining in the light. Her features being perfectly lit up. Making her dark eyes shine.

I went back down into the car, and smiled at her. "That was great." She laughed again. I leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. Her skin soft against mine.

"I'm still into you," I whispered softly in her ear.
This was written based more off the albums aesthetic then the lyrics, and songs themselves, but whatever😂
