Chapter 24

When I came to eventually I woke up in a hospital room and no one was around except for some guards I felt stationed outside my room. 'I suppose surviving a fight with multiple Kage's and a Sannin pushes me to security risk' I thought in annoyance as I look over myself for injuries. Luckily the injuries were mostly healed and my chakra was replenished enough I could heal the rest of them.

I stood up from the bed barely making a noise before sneaking over to the window 'Really if you want to lock me up you shouldn't leave a window' I thought as I gleefully jumped out and started my run to Kakashi's house. Too many people had an idea of my abilities and even staying after Kabuto revealed what he did was a risk I shouldn't have taken.

I was lucky.

My stuff unless moved should still be in my room and Kakashi is likely to be on a mission. This didn't stop me from concealing my chakra as I approached the house and entered the window carefully. Collecting the few things I had left in my room as well as sealing away some clean clothes I quickly removed any traces I had ever been in the room. I was lucky they had returned my possessions believe Kakashi to be enough guard otherwise my exit from Konoha would have gone nearly so well.

The moment I was done I ran directly to the outer walls of the village at full speed temporarily deactivating my weights until I was past the wall.

I'm fast enough that when I run I'm a blur so really escaping was easy enough as I made it to the wall then ran up it and into the forest. The part that would be truly hard is my next move, Konoha is recovering and whilst the third is badly injured he will live. My abilities will be recognised the moment he recovers, he's also unlikely to retake the post of Hokage after what happened. So a replacement, 'Jiraya will refuse he simply doesn't feel up to it and still regrets Minato's death. So his recommendation...'

'Tsunade... but she doesn't want to return,' I thought. My mind turned to who Jiraiya had been training, 'Could Naruto do it? I mean he's an idiot but he understands people, pushes them, Neji and Zabuza surely...'

I ran harder if Naruto and Jiraya brought Tsunade back to the village she wouldn't want me to leave. Ever since I figured out her little chakra trick for super strength she wasn't as likely to let me go, I had to disappear last time. She found out exactly who I am too so no I can't stay, 'The leaf headband will join my collection.' I thought as I pull it off and stuck it with a kunai forming a straight line.

I had options, the Akatsuki whilst not my first choice would be interesting and I could finally figure out the goal of an organisation formed fully of S-ranked missing-nin. Just collecting the tailed beasts doesn't make sense, the question is what they want to do with them. I had a standing invitation as well so I shouldn't have any issues at this point, the only question left is whether I'll be able to leave. The top players are unknown, the leader has never been seen and multiple remained members unaccounted.

I stop running my breath coming short after such a long full sprint, if I remember correctly there is a town close to here, I walked toward the direction I was guessing the town was in. Luckily I was correct in the direction, unluckily I could see Naruto walking with Jiraya towards the only inn in the town. There was no chance of convincing Jiraya I was allowed out of the village especially with no current Hokage and that he was no doubt informed of my skills being farm more then originally assumed.

'I guess I am camping for the night...' I thought trudging back towards the forest to set up camp.

Sunlight woke me from my tree branch and I set my pace instantly in flat sprint to reach the town quickly for breakfast. Concealing my chakra I watched carefully for both Naruto and Jiraya as I entered a teahouse. As I sipped my tea I watched the people pass by, some weary of me as I was dressed as a ninja. So I wasn't surprised when two people froze after looking in the window before coming into the teahouse and taking a seat with me.

"What are you doing here?" Kisame asked as Itachi ordered a cup of tea.

"Hmm, well fighting Orochimaru and the first and second Hokage during an invasion is apparently above a mere genin. So I decided it is the perfect time to leave, especially with a new Hokage being appointed after all with such a close shave on his life and his current injuries a second retirement seems in order," I explained easily. "I thought I could add this to my collection," I held up the marked Konoha headband.

"Collection?" Itachi questioned quietly. Kisame looked away from him uncomfortable in his knowledge.

"Leader-sama mentioned it to me during the first recruitment attempt, Yuki-san has been a member of eight now nine hidden villages. The Ice Princess Yuki Chikara, the last of her clan, rumors say she killed off her entire clan," Kisame muttered.

"I think I'll join after you attempt the nine tails, I don't particularly want to be seen at this moment by any leaf ninja."

I walked out of the store with that closing sentence before wandering around the town feeling the chakra explode from the inn I wander over the watch. Only to see Itachi and Kisame running black fire forming a hole behind them showing Jiraya hold Sasuke and Naruto standing to the side. Quickly I disappeared following the same direction of Itachi and Kisame quickly catching up to both of them.

"I suppose that didn't work out then," I asked from behind them when they finally paused.

"So, what are you here for now?" growled out Kisame.

"Didn't I say, I'm joining you from now just don't expect me to help capture the jinchuuriki and we'll be fine."

Hello,

Yes, this is the final chapter, Shippūden will be a different story should I decide to write it. A Special Chapter may come out later either in this book or a separate story based around the movie 'Clash in the Land of Snow'. Featuring a new OC based around a friend of mine mainly following Team 7 as well as Yuki.

Yuki does have a planned partner but that will only be revealed if I write a sequel. If the ending seems adrupt it's because I never planned for Yuki to stay in Konoha and this seemed the best time for her to leave considering things.

The loose ends she left with the rookie nine may be revealed in the prologue of a sequel (IF I CHOOSE TO WRITE IT)

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this, the will be some editing done to fix setting out as well as spelling and punctuation possibly some tense issues.

The next story I will likely publish is from my school project mentioned in my recent notice. This will probably only be uploaded after I finish all chapters and included minimal elements from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Really different though, as in not set in that world, no characters are included only a the use of the Flames names.
