4:01 am

I reach over and grab my coffee cup. I've been driving for about four hours now and I'm getting bored. Zach's run out of things to talk about but still asks where we are every now and then.

"Hey Alyssa?" Zach says.

"Yeah?" I answer.

"Would you mind if I borrowed your phone real quick? I wanna see if the boys have posted anything about me being gone and see if I need to contact them yet." He asks.

"Yeah sure." I say handing him my phone already unlocked. He messes around on it for a few minutes and finds that he hasn't been discovered yet.

"The boys must either be asleep or my pillow double is working." He says.

"That's good." I say.

He hands me back my phone.

"Where are we now?" He asks.

"Middle of Missouri." I tell him. This brings the total to twenty seven times he's asked.

I continue driving in the silence for a while before he speaks up again.

"Do you mind if we pull over soon? I need to use the bathroom." He says.

"How long do you think you can hold it?" I ask him.

"I don't know maybe an hour." He says.

"I'll get off at the next exit." I tell him. "It'll be about forty minutes" I warn him.

"Ok." He says.

Chapter five.

This was uneventful. But there's more stuff coming.

Hang in there.

Ok bye!
