'You're all I think about when I'm awake, part of every night and every day, and everything's a mess when you're away, now I know'

Lilianna awoke in her bed.

"How did I get here?" She mumbled. The last thing she remembered was doing her report in the kitchen at the breakfast bar.

"My papers." She suddenly realized. Hopping out of bed, she ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. Otis was sitting at the counter sipping on a cup of coffee, his eyes locked on his phone screen. Her laptop was closed and sitting on the corner of the countertop, the Vendetta files and recorder stacked on top of it.

"Don't worry, I didn't read anything. I'm not nosy." Otis assured her without looking her way.

"Oh, thanks. But how-"

"Mikale carried you up when he walked into the kitchen and found you dead asleep." He cut her off, knowing she was confused.

"Oh, okay. Thank you." She mumbled.

"No problem kid," Mikale smirked as he walked past her, and opened the fridge. "I also went shopping this morning and got us food just like you told us, that way we won't eat you out of a house and home."

"Oh, okay, great."

"A little lost for words are we? Someone is clearly not a morning person." Otis chuckled. "Do you drink coffee?"

"Mikale get her a cup please," Otis asked.

"Coming right up!" He said loudly as he poured two mugs and slid one across the counter towards Lilianna. She shuffled over, still feeling extremely tired, and took a small sip of the hot black coffee.

"Do you have a session today?" Otis asked, turning towards her slightly.

"No not until Monday." She shook her head.

"Then what are you doing till then?"

"Working on my studies and case reports. Basic session prep. Mostly work-related things."

"But it's Saturday." Mikale looked at her with wide eyes.

"People usually don't work on Saturdays." He pointed out in an obvious tone.

"I do."

"Then you're crazy."

"Oh, so you're telling me that even gang bangers take Saturday and Sunday off?" She scoffed.

"Yes, we might be criminals, but we like our relaxation time too." He nodded vigorously.

"He's right." Otis shrugged, downing the last of his coffee.

"Well then you guys can go have your relaxation time or whatever you want to call it, and I'm going to finish up my work."

"Are you sure?" Otis asked her.

"We can do something fun. We can be fun guys!" Mikale laughed.

"Seriously I have to work." She protested.

"Buzzkill," Mikale mumbled.

"Fine, we're going to find the closest shopping center and have fun, you do you." Otis rolled his eyes, making his way upstairs to get dressed.

"Otis we can't leave her here!" Mikale called after his brother.

"Why not?"

"Boss said-"
