I went to look for dresses today, without Izzy.
"You look good, cupcake. Alec's jaw will drop as you walk down the aisle." Magnus commented.
Yup. I was shopping for wedding dresses and I didn't have Izzy, (maid of honor, as mundanes call it.)
Magnus was only making my guilt intensify, because this felt like another secret I had to keep from someone close to me.
Sister Cleophas' words kept echoing inside my head. We couldn't qlet the downworlders know.
I knew I could trust Magnus, but I made a promise and I wanted to protect him.
"Izzy and I had a fight," I spoke.
"I figured," the warlock replied. "That girl never refused shopping trips, so something must've happened. What happened?"
I gestured for Magnus to pull the zipper of the gown down. "I kept a secret from her. I understand why she was mad, but if only she knew how badly I wanted to tell her."
Magnus stepped back. "Then tell her."

Izzy was in the OPs Centre when I got back. Her eyes shifted from the iPad in her hands to the big screen in front.
She turned to me. "What?" She asked, a hint of annoyance in her tone.
I sighed. "Look, I'm sorry. I really wanted to tell you, I really do, but I promised Jace I wouldn't tell anyone."
Izzy's eyes flickered to me. She took a deep breath. "Fine."
I knew I was pushing my luck, but I still had to ask. "Magnus and I couldn't find a decent dress awhile ago. Please come the next time we go."
Suddenly, a grin overtook her features, as if she wasn't annoyed with me just a few seconds ago. "Of course."
Then she hissed in pain, her arm going to her shoulder. "It still hurts? Are you treating it?"
She frowned, removing her arm. "Yeah. I have to go." She said, before rushing off.
I debated running after her, but I decided against it. I didn't want to pry.

Alec kissed me on the forehead as I sat down beside him in the kitchen. We had ordered some McDonalds, since neither of us had the ability to cook. Only burn the Institute down, I'm afraid.
"Alec, I want to apologize." I cleared my throat. "I didn't mean to keep it from you."
He shrugged. "I understand."
I shifted my body, facing him. "So, wedding plans."
I grinned. "Hmm. I'm thinking cobalt blue for the curtains. It's very you and me." I laughed.
Alec leaned in, capturing my lips with his for a quick peck. "Can I see your dress?"
I pushed him away softly. "Haven't got one yet, to be honest. But when I do, you won't until the wedding."
"But that's in forever!"
I kissed him on the lips. "Not my problem, handsome."

The following day, Alec, Izzy, and I were in the OPs Centre, looking at some files. There had been demonic attacks everywhere, it seems.
Suddenly, a familiar voice called out, "hey, you guys."
