Darkness was the one think that reigned as a storm unlike any other was unleashed upon the country. The air hummed with magic, it's very core coming from the gorgeous Shafiq mansion, where a woman lied, screaming in agony as she gave birth.
The storm stopped, just as it started, suddenly, extinguished with the woman's screams, in their place a newborn's cry. The ocean stopped to listen.
When she was two years old, the girl started hearing whispers, feeling the ocean around her. She always fell asleep with a smile.
When she was four years old the rumors started. Her parents named her Lysandria, but she was known by everyone as Cordelia, the daughter of the sea. She preferred it like that.
When she was seven years old, her favourite uncle was disowned, for no reason except that he married a muggle woman. The ocean did not care about blood purity, so why should she? The girl's anger was so great she started a storm, the dark clouds rising from above her unleashing a fury that could rival even hell itself.
When she was eight years old her parents were murdered, leaving Cordelia all alone. Before the Ministry could take her, the girl run to the sea seeking guidance and protection. The sea gladly obliged.
When she reached sixteen, Albus Dumbledore came to her, asking for help and in return promising the one thing Cordelia wanted more than anything else. The world.
